So, you recently started a blog (if you still need to create a blog click here), built up some traffic to it, have some fans following you on social networks, and you'd like to recommend some products to your readers that would benefit them, but you don't know how to get these products for free.
I've been a product review blogger since the summer of 2012, and I enjoy receiving different products from Top Leading Brands and Small Businesses to help them promote their products. This brings awareness to my readers about products they may not know about and may help them with something they need.
Whether you're a beauty blogger, food blogger, or mom blogger, companies are looking for you to review their products on your blog, and some companies may compensate you for your reviews.
If you're interested in getting paid to test products without a blog, you must check this post out.
These are prerequisites that companies will look at to decide if they'll let you review their products:
- Google Analytics (unique visitors, sessions, and pageviews)
- Social Media Followers
- Email Subscribers
Some companies may be more lenient when it comes to deciding if they want to have you review their product or not.
Here are some companies that will help you be able to sign up to become a product reviewer, sponsored posts, and make some money:
1. Izea
IZEA's platform allows users to earn money by creating sponsored content
on social media for companies they select. Payments are made via
PayPal.
2. PinchMe
PINCHme is a website where members can try new products for free in
exchange for feedback. It partners with leading brands to offer free
samples of beauty products, food and snacks, household items, and more.

PinchMe.
3. Tomoson
Tomoson is a platform that connects bloggers with companies seeking
product reviews. You must complete an application and meet specific
requirements to be approved. Some opportunities offer payment.
4. Smiley360
Smiley360 is a website for word-of-mouth marketing that offers name-brand
products for testing to bloggers and consumers. Some product testing
campaigns require an application.
5. Sverve

6. Influenster
Influenster is a platform for discovering and reviewing consumer
products. They send Voxboxes containing sample items for you to test and
share on social media and blogs.
7. SheSpeaks
SheSpeaks is a platform for female influencers to test products and
provide reviews on various platforms, including blogs, social media, and
YouTube. To join, you must complete an application. The more
active you are in the community, the more your chances of product testing
increase.
8. Sway Dashboard
I just signed up with this company through SITs Girls and so far I've
found some sponsored post and product reviews that paid $100 or
more. I haven't done any just yet because the requirement of
pageviews that the companies want is on the high side and I'm currently
working on that. This company you must fill out an application and be
approved.
9. BzzAgent
BzzAgent is a word-of-mouth marketing website where users can join
campaigns to review products from Big Brand Companies. The more
campaigns you review, the more you can join.
10. Markerly
Markerly invites you to try the latest products from beloved brands,
provide honest feedback to your followers, and get paid for your
services. Payment is determined based on your engagement level,
following, and platform. Payment details will be finalized before you
are approved for a campaign.
11. BrandBacker

brands by promoting their products on your blog and social media. You can

the Sponsored Tweets network. Get paid for creating and posting unique
content.
18. Collective Voice
Collective Voice provides influencer programs with user-friendly
monetization tools to assist creators in growing, monetizing, and tracking
their efforts.
19. Tapinfluence
TapInfluence is a platform that assists brands in creating influencer
marketing campaigns. It provides search tools, calendaring, and tasking
features to connect brands with influencers.
20. The Motherhood
The Motherhood has been a top influencer marketing agency since 2006. They take a personalized approach to collaborating with influencers instead of bombarding them with project applications or program bidding. They carefully select and invite influencers to join campaigns that align with client needs and reflect the influencers' passions and interests. Their goal is to ensure the editorial integrity of the content created by our influencers.
Contact the company directly if you want to review a specific product on your blog. They might be willing to send you the product or samples for free.
Businesses will likely contact you for product reviews if your blog has a large following and receives high traffic. This can elevate your blog to the next level, as you can request compensation for your reviews and turn your blog into a source of income. However, it is vital to ensure that your reviews reflect your honest opinions so that you do not deceive your readers.
This is a very valuable information, thanks for posting this....
ReplyDeleteHave a great Holiday
Thanks Maria! You have a happy Holiday as well!
DeleteHi Louida,
DeleteExcellent list!
Large number of subscribers (Buy YouTube Subscribers) will help you reach next stage, get higher ratings and give you a good bragging.
ReplyDeleteBuying subscribers is really not good because it be fake people that will not interact with your videos. It's a complete waste of time. Building subscribers naturally is the way to go.
DeleteThis is a great list of resources. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome Victoria!
DeleteThank you for this! I just pinned it for later, as a blogger that's just getting my feet wet with sponsors and review it's a great resource!
ReplyDeleteStopping by from SITS
Thanks for stopping by Mel! I'm glad you found this post useful!
DeleteLouida,
ReplyDeleteThank you for compiling this list. I've signed up with some of the companies, and like you, was not accepted due to my stats not being high enough yet. The companies that I've worked with so far have been great.
You have informative posts, so I know you'll continue to grow and get accepted to whatever site you join.
Cheers,
Marie
Substance of Living
Yeah Marie I'm working hard at getting to that point. Thanks for stopping by!
DeleteThis is an awesome post Louida! I found you in my Google search on the topic. I recently decided to look into possibly doing more on my two main blogs. Your recommendations are very helpful. I'm a SitsGirls member too. :-)
ReplyDeleteThank you,
Elizabeth
Thanks Eliz! Glad to hear you're a SitsGirls member too! I didn't realize that this post is already ranking on Google.
DeleteThank you - I will definitely be sharing with other newbie bloggers.
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome Antionette!
DeleteTHANK YOU AGAIN!
DeleteThis is a great list. I am so happy to have this list. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome Sonya!
DeleteThere are quite a few of these that I have joined and haven't heard a peep from. I wonder sometimes what the criteria is that is missing from my page? lol
ReplyDeleteI do love getting the products to review. If I am not getting a package a few days a week, I feel pretty sad! I will definitely be adding a few more from your list. You can't have too much variety.
http://itzybellababy.blogspot.com/
I know a lot of these companies looks for a certain criteria before approving. That could be the case.
DeleteGreat list! I've been using Tomoson for a month and love how easy it is with quality products. I've checked into a couple of those companies and some aren't quite as clear cut. Any suggestions on which are closest to Tomoson? I'm going to look through them all now but curious to hear your opinion.
ReplyDeleteHey Danielle,
DeleteI haven't seen another company similar as Tomoson. Tomoson is by far the best product reviewing company for bloggers.
This is incredibly helpful. I've been using Tomoson for about three months now and I love the ease of the site. I try to check at least once every other day to see if there are any promotions that I qualify for. For affiliate marketing, I use Amazon and Share-A-Sale. I've already had some success with both and as I've just made the leap in to being a full-time stay at home mama to my 6 year old and 18 month old sons and 8 week old niece, having a little extra income to put aside is fantastic. I've decided that this year, I'd like to just save up any income I make from blogging and use it for our Christmas budget. It was going to be a lean holiday no matter what, so every bit helps!
ReplyDeleteThanks! I always keep meaning to check Tomoson to see if they have good products available to test.
DeleteMaking money online is great and always helpful to supplement your current household income.
Hi Louida!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the list of companies. I would like to get into writing reviews for review and sponsored post companies. But I am trying to get more experience writing reviews first. I will check these out.
You're welcome Stephanie! Once you start writing reviews it'll become easy.
DeleteI really appreciate this post! Helps me out greatly! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome Yvette!
DeleteThis is a great resource. Thank you for sharing!
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome Trisha!
Deletesuch a great list! I've been reviewing through Tomoson and influenster but I'm glad I stumbled upon this post and found some other potential great ones!
ReplyDeleteThanks Diane! And thanks for stopping by!
DeleteThank you for sharing. How do you address no follow tags in sponsored reviews?
ReplyDeleteDo you mean as in how to create a no follow tag? Or how to tell a brand that the tag will be no followed?
DeleteThank you for this informative post. Would you recommend any companies/websites that focus on beauty products? Thank you!!
ReplyDeleteSign up with Cision and let them know you're a beauty blogger and you'll start getting PR companies pitching you to review beauty products.
DeleteThank you!!
DeleteI went to the website, but their website is so confusing!! I will check them out tho.
DeleteIt is a database that PR companies use to find journalist, bloggers, etc. Also, check out my blog post here http://www.productreviewmom.com/2014/10/how-to-become-makeup-product-review.html
DeleteThis post was very usefull, I just start blogging recently and I'm so sad I don't know how to promote my blog and my youtube chanell, I don't have the possibility to buy a lot of products to review them or to test so I can tell people if its good or bad, and I tried to subscribe on different sites to review things but some of them don't accept me because I don't have audience and the rest doesn't delivery to my country :( please help me or give me an advice what should I do
ReplyDeleteI'm unsure what country you're in but how I got started as a product review blogger was buying my own products, getting samples from stores, and using programs like BzzAgent, Tomoson, and Smiley360. When I was featured in Dr. Oz magazine earlier this year talking about me being a product tester it really given me a boost.
DeleteWhat you can do is try to find samples, go to stores and see if they have them. Don't give up and keep at it!
I'm from Romania, I found a few sites with free samples and I signed up I hope that I'll receive them. I will not give up. Thank you!
DeleteFound this during a google search. Amazing list yo have going and exactly what I was looking for! Just wanted to let you know (even though you probably already know) that Tomoson is paying now. Not all of them are paid reviews but a majority of them are! Have a great day :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Jessica I forgot to update that Tomoson.com offers some paid opportunities, the ones with the dollar signs by them.
DeleteI'm happy you found my post and it is useful for you! :-)
Wow! This is very valuable information. Just what I was searching for. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeletehttp://www.mommyonrecess.com
Thank you so much for providing an amazing list for those trying to get serious about blogging! Really appreciate it! <3
ReplyDeleteNo problem, you're welcome!
DeleteGreat list! I'm very new to this. When you sign up on Tomoson, you're asked how much you charge for a sponsored post. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteIt really depends on how much traffic your blog is receiving. Since you are just starting out I would put no more than $25.
DeleteWhoa. This is a GREAT list. I have pinned it to my 'Blogger Extraordinaire' board so that I can keep it as a reference. I am only a member of a few of these but I will be checking them ALL out. Thanks so much!! Xo
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for pinning Jennifer!
DeleteHey, all these blogs are only available in us?
ReplyDeleteI believe so Bettyna.
DeleteThis is a great list of resources. I am actually looking to connect with a few influencers for a product launch in July 2015.
ReplyDeleteThanks! let me know what you are launching and I may be able to review it on my blog. But remember, I only review products that fits my lifestyle.
Deletegreat list here! There were several I had never heard of.
ReplyDeleteYou're such a generous soul Lou! I saw the list and I feel inspired already:) Thank you. Already used SponsoredReviews only once, and they pay fast. Bookmarked this!
ReplyDeleteAwww thank you so much Jeni!
DeleteGreat post Lou! Thank you -
ReplyDeleteWhat about using revenue sharing sites like http://www.TopicSpotter.com and posting Amazon or product reviews there and making money from Affiliate links and adsense. Was trying to come up with a low cost way of doing something like this.
Appreciate your thoughts!
Best,
B
I never heard of TopicSpotter before, I'll need to check them out. Yes, bloggers can make money through affiliate links and Amazon as well. I mostly prefer making money through affiliate links because you can turn your blog into passive income, I explain that in my ebook.
DeleteHi,
ReplyDeleteI have not seen anyone mention Giveaway Service. I use that, Tomoson and AMZ Review Trader. I have a lot of success with each one. I love them.
Hey Jan,
DeleteI have never heard of Giveaway Service before, I'll need to look into it. Thanks!
Hello! I have an anonymous blog and I don't like the thought of having to give too much information out and I am quite nervous that it will be leaked out. I really like the first website you mentioned but I don't want to give that much information out. Do you have any tips for me? Thank you!
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately you will have to give your information out if you want to work with brands. They will not sell your information. If giving out your address is what bothers you then you can get a P.O. Box.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your help! I will try make a P.O. Box and see how that goes :)
DeleteOk great!
DeleteHi sorry I have another question. I have signed up for tomoson and I was just wondering if you knew how secure and safe it is. I am quite a small blogger and I am not sure if they will send me anything to review due to that. Thanks for all your help!
DeleteThey are secure and I've used them several times before. I currently don't use them now since I don't care too much for the products they they have to offer on their site.
DeleteThanks for your help!
DeleteHi, I love this post very informative. I have checked almost all the companies, It's just for me to join. I have joined a few already though. Keep up the good work it was very very helpful.

ReplyDeleteI thank you attention! :)
Yes, you can join as many as you want.

ReplyDeleteYou're welcome Mary! Start visiting other blogger's blogs and leave thoughtful comments. Join Facebook groups in your niche.
DeleteThanks for sharing
ReplyDeleteThank you for this wonderful post. I have been an active user of product review companies and decided that I would start a blog to show everyone how easy it was to do it. My blog is slow going right now but getting inspirational ideas from fellow bloggers like yourself does show me that all the hard work will be worth it in the end. I would love to post a link to your page on my blog of pages that I am following if that is ok with you.
ReplyDeletehttp://www.mamasurvey365.us
I just want to thank you for writing this! I am a beauty vlogger on Youtube and am just getting started so I came across this when searching for products to sample and discuss on my channel. I think I signed up for most of these! So informative, it's greatly appreciated.

ReplyDeleteThis post is super helpful! I had joined many of these, but found some new ones on your list. Thanks so much!
ReplyDeleteI love this list of paid opportunities. What I may have missed or its not here,, are ideas about gluten free food product testing. I am gluten intolerant and would love to test gluten free food and blog about it. Would you know where I might look?
ReplyDeleteHey there! You will need to contact a company you would like to work with directly.
DeleteThis is new to me so contact a company and let them know I would like to be a product tester blogger for pay? I had thought about traveling at various places and going to restaurants sampling gf menus.
Deletevery good post
ReplyDeletewww.pressloft.com have also launched a new platform for influencers. When you sign up to their website, you sync in your social channels and will start receiving opportunities from brands in the interior/gifts sector. I love it.
