Save Money on Your Next Orlando Vacation: OrlandoVacation.com Review

Each year for the New Years, my family and I take our annual vacation to Orlando to bring in our New Years Eve with a big BANG!

Orlando is my favorite place to have my family vacations because it's family friendly, a lot of theme parks to choose from, best weather, great hotels, etc.

If you checked out my post when I visited Orlando to go to Universal Studios, you'll see I only spent 1 day at both Universal Studios and there other park called Islands of Adventure because it's too expensive for us to go multiple days.

For a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 children), I paid $532 for the park hopper that can only be used for one day.   Also, I did a Express Deal on Priceline and got a 2 day-3 nights stay at the Hyatt Regency located inside the airport and paid $218- not a bad price.   So together I paid like $768 for a quick 3 day trip to Orlando- that's not really good.

I had the opportunity to review OrlandoVacation.com to see if I could find better deals on my Orlando Vacation trips, and to see if I could afford to visit theme parks multiple days so I don't feel rush trying to cram in one day.

If I would've used OrlandoVacation.com for my New Years Eve trip, for a 1 day park hopper at Universal Studios, instead of me paying $532 at the gate, I could've used their website and paid $494.  That's a savings of $38.  Also, the more days you go to theme parks, the more you'll save on their website.

Universal Studios Florida

Here are some examples to compare prices with Universal Studios Gate Prices and OrlandoVacations.com Prices:

  • Universal or Island 1/day 1 Park Adult Gate Price: $96.00 plus tax $6.24 = $102.24
  • OrlandoVacation.com Price: $101.00 taxes included

  • Universal or Island 1/day 1 Park Child Price Gate Price: $90.00 plus tax $5.85 = $95.85
  • OrlandoVacation.com Price: $95.00 taxes included

  • Universal + Island 1/day Adult Gate Price: $136.00 plus tax $8.84 = $144.84
  • OrlandoVacation.com Price: $141.00 taxes included

  •  Universal + Island 1/day Child Gate Price: $130.00 plus tax $8.45 = $138.45
  • OrlandoVacation.com Price: $135.00 taxes included

For more comparison, click here

OrlandoVacation.com also offers discounted tickets to Walt Disney World, SeaWorld, and even the smaller theme parks.

But the website is more than just theme park tickets!  You could even get discounted deals on hotels and vacation homes.  I'm pleased that this website is not a timeshare because I'm guaranteed discounted prices on days I'm planning my vacation, not working around a timeshare availability.  Also, no sitting in timeshare meetings!

You can build your own vacation package the way you want it.  Here is what I built for my next New Years Eve Trip for a example:

Radisson Park Inn (4 Stars)- $83 a night (4 nights) Total- $375.16

Busch / SeaWorld Combo - Adult ticket 2 x $137.39 each  Total- $274.78 (Tickets can be used everday for up to 14 days)

Busch / SeaWorld Combo - Child ticket 2 x $132.06 each  Total- $264.12 (Tickets can be used everday for up to 14 days)

Total:    $838.00
Taxes and Fees:    $86.06
Package Total:    $914.06
That's a great deal! They also don't charge hidden fees.

OrlandoVacation.com also can have your theme park tickets available at your hotel to avoid the lines.

Why didn't I know about this website sooner?  I could've had a much longer vacation stay in Orlando.  I'm definitely booking my next vacation through them!  Their prices are guaranteed to be the best!

  1. Haven't been to Orlando but this is a great deal I may have to check it out this summer. Is there an expiration date? Thanks for sharing!

    1. Hey Cookie,

Here is the answer I got from the owner:

All the tickets we sell expire within 14 days from the first day that you use them. The key here is the first day that you use them, so you can purchase the tickets today and not use them for 3 years, and the expiration clock does not start ticking until you actually have the ticket scanned at Disney and walk through the gates of the theme park. We suggest if a client wants to add the non-expiration option to do it after their vacation. It only takes a few minutes to go to the customer service desk and add the option to the theme park tickets.

    1. New Years Eve is the best time to go! Parties everywhere! Weather is not too hot and the crowds is not too bad like Spring Break and Summer. But I will say it's very busy New Years Eve at Disney World at the Magic Kingdom. It was over capacity and we couldn't get in over a year ago.

  35. I live in Orlando. I can't imagine planning a vacation for my family with prices like this. Even saving a few cents here and there really wouldn't make that big of a difference in my opinion.

    1. Well since you live in Orlando, you will save big since you don't have to pay for a hotel, plane tickets, car, etc. Plus you're a Florida resident which makes you pay even less for tickets.

But to each their own. Some people like myself enjoys bringing their families to theme parks and creating memories that will last forever.
