Orlando is my favorite place to have my family vacations because it's family friendly, a lot of theme parks to choose from, best weather, great hotels, etc.
If you checked out my post when I visited Orlando to go to Universal Studios, you'll see I only spent 1 day at both Universal Studios and there other park called Islands of Adventure because it's too expensive for us to go multiple days.
For a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 children), I paid $532 for the park hopper that can only be used for one day. Also, I did a Express Deal on Priceline and got a 2 day-3 nights stay at the Hyatt Regency located inside the airport and paid $218- not a bad price. So together I paid like $768 for a quick 3 day trip to Orlando- that's not really good.
I had the opportunity to review OrlandoVacation.com to see if I could find better deals on my Orlando Vacation trips, and to see if I could afford to visit theme parks multiple days so I don't feel rush trying to cram in one day.
If I would've used OrlandoVacation.com for my New Years Eve trip, for a 1 day park hopper at Universal Studios, instead of me paying $532 at the gate, I could've used their website and paid $494. That's a savings of $38. Also, the more days you go to theme parks, the more you'll save on their website.
Here are some examples to compare prices with Universal Studios Gate Prices and OrlandoVacations.com Prices:
- Universal or Island 1/day 1 Park Adult Gate Price: $96.00 plus tax $6.24 = $102.24
- OrlandoVacation.com Price: $101.00 taxes included
- Universal or Island 1/day 1 Park Child Price Gate Price: $90.00 plus tax $5.85 = $95.85
- OrlandoVacation.com Price: $95.00 taxes included
- Universal + Island 1/day Adult Gate Price: $136.00 plus tax $8.84 = $144.84
- OrlandoVacation.com Price: $141.00 taxes included
- Universal + Island 1/day Child Gate Price: $130.00 plus tax $8.45 = $138.45
- OrlandoVacation.com Price: $135.00 taxes included

OrlandoVacation.com also offers discounted tickets to Walt Disney World, SeaWorld, and even the smaller theme parks.
But the website is more than just theme park tickets! You could even get discounted deals on hotels and vacation homes. I'm pleased that this website is not a timeshare because I'm guaranteed discounted prices on days I'm planning my vacation, not working around a timeshare availability. Also, no sitting in timeshare meetings!
You can build your own vacation package the way you want it. Here is what I built for my next New Years Eve Trip for a example:
Radisson Park Inn (4 Stars)- $83 a night (4 nights) Total- $375.16
Busch / SeaWorld Combo - Adult ticket 2 x $137.39 each Total- $274.78 (Tickets can be used everday for up to 14 days)
Busch / SeaWorld Combo - Child ticket 2 x $132.06 each Total- $264.12 (Tickets can be used everday for up to 14 days)
OrlandoVacation.com also can have your theme park tickets available at your hotel to avoid the lines.
Why didn't I know about this website sooner? I could've had a much longer vacation stay in Orlando. I'm definitely booking my next vacation through them! Their prices are guaranteed to be the best!

Haven't been to Orlando but this is a great deal I may have to check it out this summer. Is there an expiration date? Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteHey Cookie,
DeleteHere is the answer I got from the owner:
All the tickets we sell expire within 14 days from the first day that you use them. The key here is the first day that you use them, so you can purchase the tickets today and not use them for 3 years, and the expiration clock does not start ticking until you actually have the ticket scanned at Disney and walk through the gates of the theme park. We suggest if a client wants to add the non-expiration option to do it after their vacation. It only takes a few minutes to go to the customer service desk and add the option to the theme park tickets.
Sounds like they have some good deals! We were in Orlando last August and are heading there again this year.
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing this! We visit Orlando yearly and I'll be checking this out. I love to save money.
ReplyDeleteI want to visit Universal Studios so badly! The Harry Potter attraction is just screaming my name. Once we are ready to plan our vacation there, I will definitely check out this website.
ReplyDeleteWe didn't go on since my youngest daughter wasn't tall enough. I didn't want her to feel left out.
DeleteWe go to Orlando every year, but we always go to Disney and stay on their property. I really need to explore what else is in Orlando, though ;)
ReplyDeleteThey have deals for Disney properties too.
DeleteYou sound like my family! We love going to Orlando.. Disney / Universal and Islands.... I leave it up to my husband to figure out the best prices but what struck me w your story is that you also go at New Years! We, and I always ask myself WHY, do the same thing! I can't wait to go again but we hope to go during an off season.
ReplyDeleteNew Years Eve is the best time to go! Parties everywhere! Weather is not too hot and the crowds is not too bad like Spring Break and Summer. But I will say it's very busy New Years Eve at Disney World at the Magic Kingdom. It was over capacity and we couldn't get in over a year ago.
DeleteI haven't been to Orlando in so long so this is great info. I can't wait to take my daughter on vacation there one day.
ReplyDeletewe took the kids to disney, i want to bring them to universal next. harry potter!

ReplyDeleteGreat Liz! You won't go back to buying tickets at the gate.
DeleteI love traveling to Orlando with my family. This sounds like a great way to save a little cash on our next trip!
ReplyDeleteAny dollar saved is a dollar earned. I like that there are no hidden fees, either.
ReplyDeleteLove the savings you found! We hope to go to Universal and Disney soon with our boys!
ReplyDeleteFirst of all, I love your hair. These Disney prices are good deals. I have to remember this for the future.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much Rachee! I actually need to update my photo because my hair texture has changed.

ReplyDelete-Janel C.
These all look like great deals. We need to get back to Florida.
ReplyDeleteYou're right. Tickets to the parks are really expensive. It's always helpful to have a resource like this to check and see if you can get better pricing.
ReplyDeletepark tickets are part of the reason we don't get to go to the parks as often as we'd like. Your deal on the Radisson is a nice price!
ReplyDeleteTheme park tickets can be expensive but if you plan ahead right you can save yourself a lot of money.
DeleteI have not been to Orlando in entirely too long! Thank you for reminding me how fun this city is. I definitely need to revisit very soon.
ReplyDeleteOrlando is a great place to take the family. With a little time and research, you can get some great deals and savings ahead of time! Thanks for the tips!
ReplyDeleteSo many good tips here! Orlando is one of my favorite places to visit.
ReplyDeleteI keep seeing reviews for Orlando and Florida attractions! I'm starting to think the universe is trying to tell me something!
ReplyDeleteTime for you to head to Florida! I think you're seeing a lot of reviews because it's Spring Break and a lot of people go to Florida during that time.
DeleteI will have to check this site out the next time we plan a trip there. We love Orlando and if we can save money we will.
ReplyDeleteOrlando is AWESOME! I'm from FL and am always trying to find ways to have a cheap stay-cation!
ReplyDeleteHey Krystal! Since you're a Florida resident you can get a deeper discount on the website.
DeleteThanks for the info - we are thinking about a trip next year to Orlando!
ReplyDeleteThanks for all the price details. We are trying to go there soon!
ReplyDeleteI have never been there, its not in our budget this year. And I am waiting for my daughters to get a little older to go. But this is a GREAT deal!!
ReplyDeleteI love in Orlando, so luckily all these attractions are just a short drive away. I have never heard of this company though. I typically do not like to use third party ticket services though when I go somewhere.
ReplyDeleteI usually don't use third parties either but this company has such good reviews that I'll take the risk.
DeleteOrlando is one of my favorite places. We take a trip once or twice a year.
ReplyDeleteI always quadruple check pricing when I am booking any sort of trip or vacation. This site sounds awesome!
ReplyDeleteI never got to go to Orlando. I got to go to Disney tho. Wasn't impressed. Would like to check out OS and such tho. Prolly a lot more fun :P
ReplyDeleteOrlando is on my list of places to go. I have not been to any of the parks.
ReplyDeleteWe hope to some day make it to Orlando. Wish flights for a family of 4 were not so expensive.
ReplyDeleteYeah flights are expensive so my family I just takes a drive down there since it's only a 6 to 8 hour drive.
DeleteI live in Orlando. I can't imagine planning a vacation for my family with prices like this. Even saving a few cents here and there really wouldn't make that big of a difference in my opinion.
ReplyDeleteWell since you live in Orlando, you will save big since you don't have to pay for a hotel, plane tickets, car, etc. Plus you're a Florida resident which makes you pay even less for tickets.
DeleteBut to each their own. Some people like myself enjoys bringing their families to theme parks and creating memories that will last forever.
This is wonderful! I'm saving this for when the kids are a little older! They want to go to Disney so bad!
ReplyDeleteI have been to Florida twice without the family. I would love to be able to take them on a vacation one of these summers!
ReplyDeleteI need to check out Orlando Vacation. We love to go but can't afford it right now. But I'm bookmarking for later.
ReplyDeleteI want to go to Orlando sooo bad and visit the parks and such. I've never been to Florida!
ReplyDeleteOh no Cassie you're missing out! I hope you're able to go to Orlando some day.
DeleteHello I ran across your website trying to find reviews on the orlandovacation.com and you are the only one that I am seeing. I wanted to know if this vacation site is legit before I invest my money.
ReplyDeleteYes they are Karla.
