Hand Painted Easter Eggs

Easter is this Sunday, and EVERYONE’S favorite tradition is dying Easter eggs ahead of the holiday’s big hunt.  While kids are usually the ones partaking in the dying (and mess-making!) The party experts at Evite have noticed a new trend this year that’s all the rage – sophisticated (& chic!) egg decorating for grown-ups.  From elegant marble designs to fun glittery eggs, egg-decorating isn’t just for kids anymore – this year, the party experts at Evite have completely refreshed the process so us “grown-ups” can get in on the fun, and match our manis to the cute designs!

Here a few how-to tips to create MOST stylish eggs

·         Be a true artist by creating a marble design (you just need a few drops of your favorite nail polish) – use the same color as your manicure and snap some drool-worthy Instagram pics J

·         Go for a luxe-look by using gold foil as a finishing touch on your eggs

·         Use glitter to make a sparkly masterpiece – a liquid adhesive will bring the shimmer to life

·         Mix and match a variety of these gorgeous designs for a truly one-of-a-kind Easter centerpiece

I think using nail polish is brilliant! This year we are traveling over Easter, so we celebrated last weekend instead - so we are all done with Easter festivities in our house :)
