This product were provided to me by Neutrogena. I was compensated but my thoughts and opinions are my own.
Do you know what's in your skincare? To be honest, I never really given any thought about what's in my skincare products. I do glance at it but don't really give it much thought like I do when it comes to my hair products and the foods I eat.
When Neutrogena contacted me to try out their new naturals brand I was delighted to accept!
The skincare product they gave me to try out and give my opinion was Neutrogena Naturals Purifying Cream Cleanser. According to the label on the cleanser it contains no harsh chemicals such as sulfates, parabens, petrolatum, dyes, and phthalates.
This cream cleanser is suppose to gently remove impurities and improves your complexion without over-drying your skin. It leaves skin fresh and soft. The willowbark bionutrient penetrates deep down to your pores to gently and effectively remove dirt, oil and makeup without clogging pores. This cleanser is also hypoallergenic
Although the cleanser is called Naturals, it is not 100% natural and it states that on the product. According to the cream tube it says that the cleanser is 98% naturally derived. The remaining ingredients are essential to blend the product together and maintain effectiveness. I'm happy to see their honesty unlike some companies claiming their products are 100% natural when it really isn't.

My Review of Neutrogena Naturals Purifying Cream Cleanser
Once I first received the package in the mail containing my cleanser, I quickly opened to take a look. My first thoughts were that the packaging of the tube was too small ( 5 FL. OZ. ) and I would go through this cleanser quickly since I'm heavy handed with my products.
You know I have to smell products before I buy and I did just that with this Neutrogena cleanser by popping open the lid and taking a sniff. The smell has a fresh scent that is not too over-powering and not bothersome.
The texture of the facial cleansing is quite rich and creamy. Since I wear makeup I was hoping this cleanser would get the job done by removing my makeup without stripping my skin dry.
While washing my face, I noticed the cream cleanser does not lather up with suds like other facial cleansers do, it stays the same creamy texture. This actually didn't bother me. I noticed my skin while washing it started having a cooling sensation feel and my skin felt like it was deeply getting cleaned.
It did do it's job of cleaning my face by gently removing my makeup and dirt and it left my face with a soft smooth glow. I couldn't stop touching my face because I was amaze by how soft it was. I used my facial scrub along with the cleanser and it packed a powerful punch! Amazing results!
I now use this cleanser in the morning before applying my makeup and in the evenings when it's time to remove it.
Actress Kristen Bell recommends washing your face while in the shower because 1. you don't have to run the faucet and 2. because your pores are open and ready to party with the cleanser. Great tips, I'll start washing my face more in the shower.
Neutrogena Naturals comes with a variety of different skincare products like Purifying Facial Cleanser, Multi-Vitamin Nourishing Moisturizer, Acne Foaming Scrub, and Nourishing Night Cream, just to name a few.

I love Neutrogena products. I will say when I purchase products I have no clue what the ingredients are. However, when I review products or win products I know every ingredient that is in them. I do feel as though I need to pay more attention to the ingredients in all of my beauty products though.
ReplyDeleteI pay attention to ingredients more when I'm reviewing the product too.
DeleteI do not know the ingredients in my face cleaner, but it does say natural on the front :)
ReplyDeleteRead the bottle and see if it is truly natural.
DeleteBelieve it or not, I do know what ingredients are in my face products, probably because I use Neutrogena already. :-D
ReplyDeleteThat's great girl!
DeleteI'm like that about product smells, if I don't like the scent I won't buy it. I've purchased a number of Neutrogena products and I love them.
ReplyDeleteYeah if the product stinks, that is a deal killer for me. It doesn't even matter if it's natural.
DeleteI use Clinique presently, which makes me assume the ingredients are quality, but in truth - I have no idea!
ReplyDeleteClinique has some good skincare products.
DeleteRight now I use Clean & Clear Deep Clean Cleanser, and I have to admit - I have never looked at the ingredients. It's probably scary. But even after trying other high-end and natural cleansers, I always go back to this one. I don't know why!
ReplyDeletePS - I hope you'll add your giveaway to the linky here: http://www.2justbyou.com/p/giveaways.html
DeleteI've used that cleanser before and really liked it. I have no clue what the ingredients is in it, but I'm pretty sure it's full of sulfates.
DeleteI've been using Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Face Wash for years, but I'm definitely intrigued by this new cleanser. May give it a try!
ReplyDeleteYou'll need to try it out Karon, I know you'll love it!
DeleteI've been looking to switch facial cleansers...the Olay I've been using hasn't been doing it's job. I'll have to look into this one for sure!
ReplyDeleteOlay is quite expensive, I know you'll like Neutrogena's Naturals.
DeleteI have super, sensitive skin so I can only use a few products and I must know what's in them. Neutrogena is one that I really like!
ReplyDeleteThis cleanser would be prefect for you!
DeleteI pay a lot of attention to the ingredients in my skincare products because I've always had problem skin. I'd love to try this out. Thanks for the opportunity!
ReplyDeleteYour welcome Celeste! Good luck!
DeleteI do not know all the ingredients in my skin care.
ReplyDeleteI do know the ingredients in my Dermalogica face cleanser (I love that stuff) but sometimes I need something a bit less expensive that can also get the job done. I have oily skin so I am wondering if this would be effective on my skin. What do you think? #productreviewparty
ReplyDeleteI think this would work good for you because I have oily skin as well and it combats that.
DeleteNo, but I should
ReplyDeleteI use Simple, so I know it's more gentle. But if it's a tried and tried product, I don't check as much.
ReplyDeleteOh I see Stacie.
DeleteI actually use this line of products. I like the liquid face wash it actually gives a good lather with just a little bit of product.
ReplyDeleteI want to try the liquid facial wash, I love washing with suds.
DeleteI'm embarrassed to say that I never look at the ingredients.
ReplyDeleteI sure do! I use Neutrogena.
ReplyDeleteMost yes, but honestly some no I do not know what is in them.
