Each year my daughters have breakfast with Santa at our local mall which now has become a family tradition. My girls are in a kids club called Kidgits and throughout the year Kidgits has different activities and events for kids and all of this is only $5 for each child a year- totally worth it!
This year’s Breakfast with Santa was a downer and the reason for this is because Santa didn't get to go to everyone's table to visit with the kids due to disgruntled parents who didn't follow the rules the previous years. Some parents would barge to different tables where Santa was visiting children and requesting Santa to see their kids and not waiting their turn. I hate it when people ruin things for everyone. My girls were not happy by this. We stood in line for over an hour at this event and I'm unsure if we'll be doing it again.
After the Santa event was over and we were already at the mall, the girls and I did a little shopping and then we headed to another event.
The next stop was Santa's Workshop in Old Norcross. You may have seen my post about this event and I wanted to make sure my girls had a chance to go since it is something different that they've never experienced.
Santa's Workshop was in a beautifully decorated home filled with antiques, ornaments, porcelain dolls, and statues handcrafted by a lady that I forgot to get the name of that were also there too. We were served cookies, hot apple cider, and milk.
My girls were pumped to get home and start decorating since we haven't had the chance yet. After the workshop, we walked around Old Norcross, visited a few shops, and then headed home.
I'm #TeamFakeTree, so all I needed to do was pull our tree out the closet, fluffy it up and plug it in. My girls and I put on our decorations which consists of old arts and crafts my girls made throughout the years, ornaments I received as gifts several years ago, and colorful Christmas bulbs about as old as my daughters. Yes, my tree needs a facelift but as long as my girls love it that is all that matters. But we may get a grownup tree with more modern decor next year since now they're getting a lot older.
Hey, love their outfits? Guess where they got them from? You guess it, FabKids! My girls wanted to wear their outfits for Santa so they waited for this special occasion. Too bad they couldn't meet with him and take pictures with him in their outfits. The girls were stars of the show at the Breakfast with Santa event because they were getting compliments everywhere! One little girl even said about Michelle's galaxy dress that she looked like a princess- aww how sweet! My girls were color coordinated and looked fab in their outfits! If you're looking for high quality clothes for your children definitely check out FabKids!
Here is a couple of questions for you all.
Are you #TeamRealTree or #TeamFakeTree?
Have you put up your Christmas decorations yet?
The girls looked great and I am also a member of #TeamFakeTree. However, you know mine is still in the basement but I have designated Saturday to getting everything done.
ReplyDeleteI hope you take pics sis, I would love to see your tree!
DeleteSo cute! Can I say that I really admire how much you do with your girls? It is so wonderful seeing a parent really spend time and do new things with their children. I love it! Like you, I hate when people mess up things for others. I'm sorry the girls were disappointed, but they looked beautiful! I love their outfits. I'm definitely #TeamFakeTree. I have bad allergies so I can't even imagine all that pine in our home. No ma'am! I have a small fake tree, I need to put up soon. I'm slacking!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Ashley! I love spending quality time with my girls. We are always out on adventures together and I love sharing it with my readers what we been up too.
