Many people try to get away and enjoy the warm weather
during the summer, but have you ever considered a lovely winter vacation?
Depending on what you choose to do and where you go, you may be able to get a

Alternatively, you may prefer to enjoy the seasonal temperatures a winter vacation
offers. Regardless, winter is a great time to get away.
Go Skiing
A popular winter vacation destination is skiing. There are

Take a Cruise
Get away from the cold, gloomy chill of winter by hopping on
a cruise to the Caribbean. On the other hand, if you thrive in the temperatures
winter offers, think about an Alaskan cruise. There are also ships that
frequent the Greek Isles, multiple Mexican destinations, and a host of other
places throughout the world. Many cruises offer all-inclusive packages where
you can enjoy everything your ship offers with the exception of adult beverages
and shopping with your ticket price.
Visit the Tropics
Although it may be wintry weather across the continental
U.S. during the final season of the year, this is often considered the optimal
time to visit the tropics. The variety of places to visit is too many to name,
but they range from isolated island destinations to larger urban party towns.
Go to the Beach
If you are not interested in doing anything huge on a winter vacation, such as theme parks or snorkeling, but would rather stay home and truly rest your mind, you might consider going to a beach that has winter weather. Often, you can acquire deep discounts for a more affordable trip. On the other hand, there are also places like the Florida coast that offer optimal beach weather year-round.
Going on vacation in the winter can be just as thrilling as
going in the summer. Analyze what you are looking for, and choose one of the
above options.

I definitely love to getaway to the beach and sun at least once every winter! I love going back to visit Miami Beach and visiting new Caribbean islands. Cruising is also a great option with so many great deals and wkd getaway options. I have been on quite a few and love exploring different ships!

DeleteLou, I am up for all of it, when are we going?! I love the beach anytime of year, especially when it's cold outside where I live. I'm not a big skier but would still enjoy going to CO and trying it out!

DeleteI have never been skiing. I keep meaning to try, but really, I hate the cold, so would it be fun? LOL I really really want to go on a cruise next year. CDub and I went twice BEFORE Pookah was born, but we haven't been since. I think it's time! And the beach..is ALWAYS a good idea!
ReplyDeleteWe were talking about a winter get away vacation for next Christmas, my youngest is 10, not so many cutesy gifts anymore. They all have electronics and want money so I thought a destination Christmas would be better. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteI've done the cruise thing in the winter, and we live on the Florida coast, so the beach is pretty easy to hit. I would LOVE to go skiing one day - I don't think I'll be any good at it, but the fun will be in trying!
