I was given this product free to do a review.  All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Hey yall!  Remember the post that I written about me not using MAC foundation anymore because it was clogging up my skin creating a mess on my face?

Since I have changed my makeup awhile back I have noticed a big difference in my skin, also using better skincare products was a tremendous help too.  Now my skin is a lot smoother, healthier, and even glowing!   My acne spots are fading which means now I’m wearing less makeup as the time goes by- I’m so happy about this!  Less breakouts and my skin is looking like what it’s supposed to be instead of when I was a teen.

The great thing about being a blogger is that I get to learn about products I may have never thought about using or never even heard of.  Brands reach out to me to try their products and a lot of times I find myself going back to the store looking for their products to use again because it is just that good.  derma e is one of those brands that now I’m one of their repeated customer due to their great high quality skincare products.  I owe a lot of thanks to them for helping me get my skin back on track.

About derma e:

derma e is a family owned company based in California.  They’ve been making trusted, vitamin rich, natural skincare since 1984.  Their products are cruelty-free and 100% vegan.  They never use any harmful parabens, phthalates, sodium lauryl sulfate, petrolatum, mineral oil, artificial colors, or GMOs.

Due to their products being natural I believe this is the reason why my skin has been improving a lot.  With smoother skin, my makeup also looks better too.

derma e contacted me to try out their Evenly RadiantBrightening Serum, a serum that targets discoloration and damage.

Evenly Radiant Brightening Serum is an intensive treatment formula that targets uneven pigmentation and age damage at the source.

  • Vitamin C, Madonna Lily Plant Stem Cells, Bearberry, Licorice, Vitamin B3, Alpha-Arbutin and Green Tea help fight discoloration and visible signs of aging.

  • Ideal for uneven pigmentation, discoloration, sun damage, freckles, age and dark spots.

  • Can be used alone or under a moisturizer as an added treatment boost.

My Review

For some reason I thought this serum was going to be a white creamy texture but instead it was like a clear gel.

I applied it on my freshly washed bare face but it was a bit too sticky to me so I only use it at nights before I go to bed.  Using a little goes a long way.  I really enjoy the light lemon scent which is very refreshing on my skin.  I'm not really into heavy perfumes when it comes to my skincare products that I apply to my face.

When I wake up the next morning my face looks so energized, soft, smooth, and within a few weeks I started noticing my dark marks are starting to fade.  It’ll take a while before my dark marks to fade completely so I’ll continue to use this serum each night before bed.

Another problem area on my face is having under eye wrinkles when I smile and the Evenly Radiant Brightening Serum has been smoothing it out a bit, slowly, but I’m seeing the improvements.

Should you give derma e's Evenly Radiant Brightening Serum a Try?

There is no doubt that I highly recommend derma e’s products to anyone.  Their skincare products are great to add to your current skincare routine.  I will say they are a bit on the pricey side but their products are worth every penny.  Feel good knowing you’re using products that are not harmful to your skin.

  1. I have tried serums in the past, however, it is a hit and miss. I have come across a few good ones but others leave my skin greasy. My mom on the other hand, loves all of the serums I have given to her. She has a birthday coming up in September so I will have to casually see if she is low on beauty products and may surprise her with this too.

    1. Yeah I have used some not so good serums myself that left my face greasy. Your mom would love this serum Victoria and you can find it at Whole Food stores and Vitamin shops.
