It was hard for me for a few days to wake up an hour ½ early but my body quickly adjusted to it and I’m happy to have that extra time in the mornings before I head to work so I can get a quick bite to eat for breakfast and catch up on the latest events happening in the world on the news. Soon all of this will change when I become a work from home mom starting the beginning of next year. The girls will be going to bed by 8pm instead of 9:30pm-10pm, that day can’t come fast enough because my girls are in need of the extra rest.
If you have noticed I haven’t posted about July FabKids picks and there is a good reason why I didn’t. FabKids was transitioning to back to school outfits and wanted the girls and I to choose from their latest fall collection.
Since the girls has been too busy to sit down with me to choose which outfits they wanted to wear for August I chosen for them. While viewing FabKids back to school collection I noticed that their clothes are much warmer with the clothes having thicker fabric and colors are a bit darker but still bold. Outfits for girls still has the patterns, animal prints, leggings, and tutus that the girls adore but there were quite of bit of outfits that were too warm for them to wear now since we are still in the hot days of summer and summer in Atlanta can get very hot. I chose two lightweight outfits that my girls would look cute in, play in, and walk in; the prefect go-to outfits for school. The girls will definitely stand out among their friends because no one in their school is sporting these fabulous outfits and the girls loves to be the center of attention! One of the girls’ teachers at their childcare center told me that she would love to shop my girls’ closet, including mines because we are always dressed so nice. LOL, what can I say, the girls and I love fashion!
Check out my picks for August and let me know if I did a good job choosing their outfits for the month. The girls love their outfits but Michelle wished she had Lauren’s outfit and Lauren wished she had Michelle’s! Well next time I’ll make them sit down with me so they can choose the outfits that they want.
Lauren: Hearts Forever Outfit
Michelle: Preppy Plaid Outfit
- Dresses from $15
- Girls Tops & Tees from $10
- Leggings 3 for $19
- Tutus from $8
- Sneakers from $19
- Boys Tops & Tees from $6
I really love Lauren's outfit especially the top part of her dress.
ReplyDeleteI agree Paris!
DeleteBoth of the outfits are super cute. I don't know if I could choose the best one lol. I feel you on the school schedule, though. I usually get up between 5:30-6:00am for the boys, now I have been getting up at 5 so I can be ready when school starts in a few weeks to be up at 4:30.
ReplyDelete5am! OUCH!!!!
DeleteGreat outfits as always! Both are super cute, but I think tule skirts look like little princesses.
ReplyDeleteI love the tulle skirt, makes the outfit look super adorable!
DeleteIt's hard to choose this time! I think the Preppy Plaid outfit is nosing out the other one this month. Just by a hair, though!
ReplyDeleteThe plaid does gives the outfit more pop to it.
DeleteAwww thanks girl!
