Hey yall!  Today is my birthday!  Yay!  Time to celebrate!  Today, I'm 32 years young and feel blessed to see another year.  Seems like the dirty 30's is so much more fun than it was in my 20's, I was pretty much trying to find myself during those years.

For my birthday, I wanted to do a photoshoot again with my girls, so I contacted my girl Tiffany Powell from Tiffany Powell Photography to do another birthday photo shoot for me.

This time Tiffany snapped shots of us at Stone Mountain because I wanted to get a more Fall scenery look but during this time of the year in Atlanta the weather is still warm, just cold during the morning hours.  So the leaves don’t start changing and falling until late October.  But the greenery is just as nice too.

Although these are my birthday photos, I also wanted to showcase a couple of Fall looks I’ll be wearing during the autumn months.  I’m big on prints and flowers, as you can tell, so I thought it would be cute to wear a dark floral dress that I recently purchased at New York and Company.  I love the way this dress fits on me, that gives me a more slender look and give me some height.  The sleeves has a bell shape at the end and it reminds me of a hippy chic kinda style which I love.  My style this Fall will be more bohemian chic so I’ll snap some photos of other outfits I purchased from New York & Company soon on my newest camera.

Yes, Mr. M granted my birthday wish early and purchased me a Nikon D5500, my first DSLR camera!  I got tired of my other Nikon camera since it was only a point and shoot, I want to take more action shots and this camera would give me nothing but blurriness.  Also, I felt the picture quality could have been sharper, but hey, it served its purpose.

For my other look I wore from New York and Company is a black long tailed blouse and paired it with green distressed cargo pants.  This year, long tail shirts and tunics are in and I’m glad because it’ll hide all my rolls, LOL!  I wore my platform sandals with both outfits (I had them for a couple of years now) because it’s a bit too hot for boots right now.  Also, I’m not really a fan of wearing heels; I’m a platforms kinda chick.  I only wear heels if it’s really necessary.

Do you see this cute purse?  Spartina 449 gifted me this brown leather purse that is part of their Fall/Winter collection.  This tote bag will go with many different outfits I’ll be wearing this Fall so I’ll be wearing it often.  I love the fact it has many different pockets for storage since I travel around with a lot of stuff in my purse.  Definitely check Spartina 449 out, they have many different purses to choose from and accessories.

Look at my girls!  Aren’t they the cutest?  They are both wearing The Children’s Place from head to toe.  Last year’s photo shoot, Michelle was a natural in front of the camera, this time she wasn’t really into it as much, but Lauren was, and get this, Lauren last year wasn’t really caring to get her photos taken.  Funny how one child is this way, and the other child is the other way, it always seems to be that way with both my girls.

After the photoshoot, the girls and I stuck around Stone Mountain, ate lunch, and then went on a boat ride.  The girls had a chance to drive the boat, they both really enjoyed that!

No plans really for me for my birthday today.  Since Mr. M has to work, the girls and I will have dinner together later this evening.  On Saturday, the girls will spend the night at their Grandma’s house so Mr. M and I can go out together (wow this is a record of me without the girls). Unsure where Mr. M and I will be going, probably go out to eat somewhere.

Which looks do you like the best?

    1. Thanks girl! I know right....these girls are growing up way too fast. Yes, you and your family need to do a family photo. I'm trying to get Mr. M to do a family photo with us in the winter but it won't be on this blog though.

My days of always shopping at NY& CO will be coming to an end soon once I stop working outside my home. I won't be needing a whole bunch of outfits if I'm always at home.
