Valentine’s Day Date Ideas

Break out the love hearts with the usual round of flowers and chocolate. It’s Valentine’s Day again! If you are thinking about it already, you are likely hesitating over what you are going to do to make the date a memorable one.

I’m going to give you a few cool ideas to get started with. Keep reading to find out more.

A Tourist in Your City

So you can’t afford that dream trip to Tahiti to surprise him/her with, that doesn’t mean you have to stay in the house. Become a tourist within your own city. Look online and find the secret places you previously never knew about.

You will be shocked at some of the things that have been right under your nose.

Get a Couples Massage

A couple’s massage can be as erotic as it can be sensual. Many local spas offer deals where on Valentine’s Day both of you can enjoy a massage together at a reduced price. It will help you relax and get in the mood for whatever fun you have planned that evening.  Or, you can do massages at home to spice things up.

Recreate that First Date

Your first date is the place where you came together for the first time. There is nothing more creative than evoking those old memories with another first date. For extra brownie points, keep it as a surprise. Recreate that first date and do everything the same way as before.

Take a Cooking Class

We would all love to make up a smashing meal for our loved ones. However, don’t take an ordinary cooking class. Get adventurous and opt for the wildest cuisines possible. Not only will it be enormously tasty, but also it will be fun to try with your spouse.

There are many cooking classes dedicated to Valentine’s Day in the big cities. Look online and see what’s available near you.

Sexy Game Night

Whether its strip poker or a board game with a twist, a sexy game night is ideal for the couple that wants to let it all hang out. You could even combine this date night idea with something you do in the daytime.

If you really want to get wild, invite some other couples you know are into this sort of thing.

Listen to Live Music

A live music concert is a great way to surprise someone. Get them tickets for their favorite band, even if it happens to be in the next city over. Have drinks, enjoy some live music, and go home for a night of fun. Just make sure you check the record collection before booking anything!

Take a Dance Class

Nothing is more romantic than someone who can dance. It’s the language of love without saying anything. Even if you go to class and find you absolutely can’t dance, it’s the thought that counts. He/she will love it when you are making an effort like this.

There are so many options available for Valentine’s Day. Get creative and try to make it as unique as possible. Add some romantic touches and you have everything you could ever need to have a day you will remember for years to come.

Do you have any big date night plans for Valentine’s Day?

  1. This year we're just hanging out at home for Valentine's Day. Dinner, cocktails, and trying out this paint kit I found. However, I do like the idea of massages and a game night. We sometimes do Cards Against Humanity with couple friends and its always a blast.
