Thanks Western Chief for my rain boots!

Hey Yall!  Happy March!  Spring can't come soon enough!  This weather out here in Atlanta has been so bipolar.  Some days warm, and some days it's freezing with rain and snow mixture.

Last week the weather was all kinds of crazy!  Heavy winds and rain were quite scary; it had me hibernating in my house keeping warm like a bear nestled up in its den for the winter.  My wreath on my front door kept banging against the door having me thinking that someone was knocking, and the wreath kept blowing off the hook.  Someone must've had mother nature furious.

I spent my time last week catching up on much-needed rest, watching my reality shows, and I did face the severe weather head on going to the gym then quickly went back to hibernation mode.

Now all the storms have passed through, for now, the sun is shining, the temperature is warming up, spring is right around the corner( March 20th)!  Time for me to get planning for our spring break trip, start refreshing my families wardrobe with spring clothing and shoes.

Although spring brings warmer weather, it doesn't mean that the rain will be going away.  Springtime brings lots of rain, severe weather even.  And there will be times that I'll have to be out in it.

To keep myself dry, I got myself some rain boots from Western Chief.  I love their rain boots!  They're affordable, stylish, lightweight, and goes well with many different outfits.  You can even wear them when it's not raining.

Check out the boots I got, they're called Women's Ditsy Dot ($40).  I got a thing for polka dots; it's so fun wearing it, giving an outfit a playful and youthful look.  It doesn't matter to me; I'll wear polka dot shoes, shirt, pants, and leggings.  Polka dots are great during the spring and summer months; they're not just only for kids.

Speaking of kids, Western Chief also has rain boots for children too.  Now my girls and I can be stylin' together in our rain boots.  Heyyyy!!!

Y'all know what?  This is my first pair of rain boots.  Seriously!  What took me so long to get myself a pair?  Unsure, I guess because I would just wear my leather boots in the rain.  But now I don't have to worry about getting my leather boots all messed up since rain boots hold up nicely on rainy days and easy to wipe off the mud.  Plus they're great wearing them while gardening and playing in puddles.

I can wear my new rain boots with jeans, leggings, dresses, even sweats!

Do you have a pair of rain boots in your wardrobe?  Do you need to get yourself another pair?  Western Chief Rain Boots can be found at these retailers, Macys, Zappos, Amazon, and Nordstrom, also on their website.

You know what else they have, raincoats and umbrellas for kids, plus much more.  And men, there are boots for you too!

I can't wait until spring makes its appearance!  Birds chirping, bees buzzing, and flowers blooming.  And rain giving my plants much-needed nourishment.  I'll be out singing in the rain, LOL, just kidding!  But I'll be keeping dry in my new rain boots!

  1. Lou, these are super cute rain boots. I wonder if the have size 11 1/2?. Biggest girl! I'll have to check them out and the price sounds reasonable. I do like the umbrella combo too. Be gone Winter...and come on Spring. I'm ready too!

    1. They run up to size 11. However, their boots run big so 11 would work for you, even maybe size 10.

      The umbrella I already had.

  3. I love the rain boots! I just came in from walking the dog through soggy, mucky grass. These would be so handy for that! I wonder how they would look with my pajama pants... :-)

    1. I think they would look good with pajama pants. I wear mine with sweats and still look decent in them.
