I was loaned this vehicle during my Orlando trip to do a review and give my honest opinions. |
Hey Yall! Did you peep the car I was driving during my trip in Orlando on Instagram? That 2016 KIA Optima SX LTD in Snow White Pearl was super fresh and clean. It made searching for 2 hours for this car at the airport all worth the hassle.
Like wow, this KIA Optima is top of the line, classy, sporty, luxury, all wrapped up in this one fantastic midsize vehicle.
I thought that being on vacation with my family, it's a must to be in an SUV or van; wrong! The KIA Optima had plenty of leg room space and storage for our bags, making it a comfortable ride around town and long distance trips.
Mr. M kept giving this car high praises. He loved the turbo speed, excellent handling, seating, traction control, the list goes on. The girls, who are used to being in SUVs loved this car too.
When I hopped into the car, that warm chocolate seating called Aubergine Nappa leather is something I never saw before, gives the car a much more luxury feel and look instead of just a regular ol' sports car.
We had valet at our resort park it for the night since we were too tired to go to self-parking, and he asked if the vehicle was mine or a rental. I told him I was working media reviewing the car, and then he said what a great job to have, this Optima looks great from the grille up front, to the back end. The massive panoramic sunroof was a great touch. He also said the KIA designs of their cars has made a vast improvement for the better. He couldn't wait for me to hand over the keys so he can take a quick drive in it to the parking garage.
My family and I thought we were all that and then some driving around Orlando and Tampa in the Optima. Seats laid back, satellite radio playing our favorite tunes, cruisin' smoothly up and down the freeways. And speaking of highways, Orlando is filled with toll plazas; the KIA Optima has an option to avoid them with their navigation system. YES!
The navigation system was working overtime during our trip, and I like the fact I can use it during when the car is in motion.
There were several plug-ins for everyone in the car to charge their devices. Not good having devices with no battery life because there are not enough charging ports, how are we suppose to post our vacation photos on social media with a dead battery? LOL!
The weather in Florida was quite warm, sun beaming down on the car, so, unfortunately, we didn't get to use the sunroof. But a good thing is the back passenger windows has a pull-up shade to block out the sun. Cooling front seats was a great feature to have too, to keep our bottoms nice and cool.
I drove the 2015 KIA Optima and reviewed it, but 2016 model blows 2015 model out the water. From the stronger looking outer exterior to the more luxurious interior. With going price for this fully loaded car at $36,615.00, you can have luxury and sporty at an affordable price.
Also, you'll be spending less on gas (25 MPG City 22, Highway 32), so more time on the road, and less time at the gas pumps.
Once again, another car that was hard to give up. I'm looking forward to what 2017 model will be like, I know it'll be something out of this world!
It sounds like you all had great time with this car.Really love all the features of it!
ReplyDeleteNice ride! Looking at these pics makes me want a new car so bad. We are long overdue!
ReplyDeleteThat is one nice look car! It is too small for my family but I do like how it looks! :)
ReplyDeleteNice looking car. Wherever I got my idea that Kia's weren't nice cars, I can't imagine. After seeing this write up, I have a totally different view of them.
