Hey Yall!  I hope you all are doing well and having a good week.  As for me, I'm not feeling well, came down with a nasty cold thanks to Michelle.

A few days ago, Michelle came home from school sick with a stuffy nose, cough, and she was sneezing a lot.  I was helping her back to health and then boom, next day I got her sickness.

It seems like her nasty bug lasted for a couple of days and all is fine, but I've been suffering for the past few days with it still lingering.  This virus has come onto me hard; I think I may have come down with the flu.

And being sick during the summer is the worst.  I'm hot, stuffy, sneezing, can't breathe.  I need to get over this cold fast!

I remembered about a month ago I received an oil diffuser to try out that came with artisan essential 8 set of pure oils.  I'm trying to get rid of my sickness as naturally as possible and thought my new artnaturals Bluetooth Oil Diffuser would help nurture me back to health without using unnatural medicines from the drug store.

Essential oils can be utilized for many different things like home care, mood, health, and beauty.  So far, I've only used essential oils on my skin and hair.  Now, is the time to use it to fight my summertime cold.

Here is how I used my new artnatural Diffuser:

1.  Remove the cover

2. Add water to the max water line, then add several drops of Lavender, Peppermint, and Eucalyptus

3. Replace the cover

4. Press mist to start

My room filled the air of aromatic scent, instantly calming and relaxing me after having a hard night of sleeping due to me not able to breathe out of my nose.

It's like the diffuser started waking up my senses, helping me be able to breathe again, but I still had a bit of stuffiness, in due time after several uses I should be all the way well.

And here's a little trick I did to help open back up my nasal pathways.  I applied the peppermint oil directly under my nose.  Works like a charm, similar to using Vicks with the menthol affect.

My new diffuser will be used for more than just getting me back well, but also, naturally sweeten up the smell of my home.

With my oil diffuser, it came with several different essential oils:

1. Sweet Orange- Helps eliminate bad odors, which is why it is used in household cleaning products.

2. Lemongrass- Helps relieve muscle pain, fight bacteria, ward off insects, and reduces body aches.

3. Frankincense- Creates a comfortable and spiritual environment with its earthy & uplifting aroma.

4. Tea Tree- This oil has been used to help with skin ailments and helps clear skin, soothe sores, fight foot odors, and much more.

5. Peppermint- With its calming effects, can be used for a variety of health conditions; soothes nausea, stomach issues, and cools overworked muscles.

6. Rosemary- Promotes healthy hair, clear skin, and boosts mental activity.

7. Eucalyptus- This oil has antiseptic qualities & is used for healing wounds, burns & cuts.

8. Lavender- Is known for its relaxing benefits, but also highly regarded for the skin, cleanse cuts, bruises, skin irritations, and more.

These recipes I'll be using my diffuser, oils, and other scents this fall:

Autumn

Brisk Air

4 drops of Sweet Orange, 3 drops of Lemongrass, 3 drops of Fir

Autumn Leaves

3 drops of Peppermint, 3 drops of Fir, 1 drop of Eucalyptus, 1 drop of Tea Tree, 2 drops of Rosemary

Harvest Moon

2 drops of Sweet Orange, 2 drops of Clove, 2 drops of Cinnamon, 2 drops of Eucalyptus, 2 drops of Rosemary

Trick-or-Treat

3 drops of Sweet Orange, 2 drops of Clove, 2 drops of Rosemary

Fall Sweets

3 drops of Sweet Orange, 2 drops of Frankincense, 2 drops of Cassia

By the way, my artnaturals diffuser has a built-in clock and alarm clock, and rotating led colors to help set the mood.

And that's not all I have received from artnaturals!

They sent me Rollerball Oils and Jojoba Oils as well.   I'm going to have fun playing with all these different oils, creating hypnotizing scents.

I'll be sharing more recipes with essential oils soon, so stay tuned.

Now, time for me to snuggle in my snuggie, sip some hot tea, while my quiet little diffuser sensify my space.
