Hey Yall! The start of my birthday weekend was amazing! This past Thursday, the girls and I were invited to McDonald's Inspiration Celebration Gospel Tour as it returns for the 11th year with messages of hope and inspiration for the communities nationwide with their free concert series. The concert was held at House of Hope Atlanta.
The show was electrifying, compelling, uplifting! My God, I didn't know I would be walking out of this show feeling like a whole new person! Refreshed and renewed.
The messages and songs spoke deeply to me; it's like the holy spirit was flowing throughout my body and had me full of joyful tears of thankfulness for all of God's blessings.
The tour's theme was Unstoppable, and with this theme, concertgoers were encouraged to embrace the power of what can happen when they are determined to press forward despite their circumstances. The hope is that people will feel empowered at the end of each concert.
Lately, my heart has been aching to the point of always being mad and depressed, but the messages I heard during the show let me know that all will be okay, seek him from above.
The 2017 lineup had a wide range of celebrated gospel music talent which included multi-award winner Tye Tribbett, returning music director and songwriter Donald Lawrence, legendary pastor and singer Bishop Paul S. Morton, gospel crooner Brian Courtney Wilson, songbird Anita Wilson, singing sensation Jekalyn Carr, as well as respected quartet voice Paul Porter. Christian comedienne Small Fire again brought laughter while radio personality and gospel artist Lonnie Hunter resumed hosting duties.

To help celebrate McDonald's continued dedication to local Ronald McDonald House Charities Chapters, the national concert tour will raise a nationwide love offering to support families served by the Charity.
In just the last five years, the love offering has raised more than $510,500 to aid in keeping families together while children are ill.
I remember talking with Mr. M two years ago sharing about when I quit my job I'm going to start supporting and dedicating my time to a charity. I wanted to do something that will help others.
I didn't know what charity I wanted to join, but I wanted to make sure that the charity was genuine and does help those in need.
The beginning of the year, the Atlanta Ronald McDonald House contacted me to learn about their incredible program, helping families during a tough time providing them a warm and safe shelter and hot meals.
I've witnessed the good deeds that Ronald McDonald House provided for so many families, and I'm so glad that now this charity I am apart of by sharing the blessings and dedicating my time to this worthy cause.
And by the way, all the money raised at Atlanta concert tour stop went directly to both Atlanta Ronald McDonald House locations.
This right here looked very powerful. I love Tye Tribett's music.
