The reason for my travels was because LEGOLAND Florida Resort invited my family and me to preview LEGO NINJAGO DAYS Event.
The invite in my email box came last minute, but it's hard to refuse not accepting an invitation to LEGOLAND, let alone Florida. Both destinations are our favorite places to be. Plus, the girls and I had terrible cabin fever from all the ice and snow Atlanta received, and a trip back to Florida is the best cure.
My girls are huge fans of the LEGO brand, including all of the movies. Throughout their childhood, they've built some incredible structures and proudly showcase their masterpieces in their room. And no, no longer am I stepping on LEGO pieces on the floor. 😂 They make sure to clean up afterward.
The LEGO NINJAGO DAYS Event is all about the celebration of LEGO's latest movie NINJAGO with different activities happening throughout the park which is included in admission.
The girls and I went to a similar event at LEGOLAND Discovery Center here in Atlanta last year, but this one in Florida is one massive attraction! It's so much happening in every corner of the park; I guarantee you'll have to return the following day to do everything.
The event included the following:
- LEGO NINJAGO- Master of the4th Dimension at the 4D Theater
- Meet Master Wu
- Where's Wu Scavenger Hunt
- Ninja Search (Dress up as your favorite Ninja)
- Good vs. Evil Build Competition
- Meet Lloyd
- NINJAGO Video Game Takeover
- Visit LEGO NINJAGO WORLD and check out Ninja Skilled Action-Packed Ride, Meet Kai and Nya, Watch Martial Artistry, and do Ninjoga (yoga)
- Pirates Cove- Ski Stadium (Battle for Brickbeard's Bounty) Show
- Ninja Market has tasty treats that include kid-themed candy sushi, ham & cheese sandwich sushi, chocolate-dipped fortune cookies, and ninja trail mix
And the fun doesn't stop there at the park! LEGOLAND Hotel and LEGO Beach Retreat Resort have NINJAGO events happening at those two hotel locations as well.
We have been to LEGOLAND Florida before, and this visit I felt the girls and me had the most fun since we got to do more. The weather was perfect, and not as hot as our last visit.
Also, we even visited LEGOLAND's very own Botanical garden that we didn't get to see during our last visit since it was closed. The wide range of beautiful plant displays in the garden is so colorful and soothing; the tranquil paradise takes you to a relaxing abyss.
Hurry and visit LEGOLAND Florida, the NINJAGO event is only there for a limited time, January 20-21, 27-28, and February 3-4.
Mark your calendars, more events are coming up too!
April 14th- Brick Dash 5K
May 5-6, 12-13, 19-20- LEGO STAR WARS DAYS
Thank you LEGOLAND for having us! We had an Bricktastic time! 😀
Girl, I remember playing with Legos as a kid, but don't ask me to build anything these days.(lol) How wonderful to be invited to do things with your family for fun. I think that's pretty cool! Glad you guys had fun! Hugs...RO
