Camp Mommy has been going on strong in my household! It's been a lot of fun traveling around the city with my girls keeping them entertained, and seeing what Metro Atlanta has to offer. Plus, it's giving me the energy boost I need, since I'm always parked in front of my computer working.
Last week it came to me, I have a couple of years left hanging out with my girls before they consider me embarrassing to be around, or they instead just want to be with their friends. This summer, I'm taking full advantage of spending quality girl time with them, before they hit the teenage stage that parents become uncool. So, instead of me sitting on the sidelines while watching them have fun, I'll be joining in on the action with them. And I did just that when we attended XtremeHopp, An Indoor Adventure Park located in Johns Creek, Georgia.
About XtremeHopp
From the creators of HippoHopp, Atlanta’s best indoor playground for little kids, XtremeHopp Johns Creek is an indoor adventure park for all ages that is a cut above. With so many ways to play there is something for the whole family and every age group.
From the real Ninja Warrior and Parkour courses to the first High 9 Reactive Wall game in the area, to the fun in the Foam Pit where you can test your skills with the Battle Beam, Log Roll and gamified Rock Climbing challenge to the Extreme Dodgeball, Slam Dunk and of course Main Court of trampolines, there are new things to try each visit! ...and enjoy the fun of the GLOW LIGHTS for the last 2 hours of every night ....with unique GLOW XPERIENCE on Fridays and Saturdays and GLOW birthday PARTIES available, too!
Now, I haven't bounced on a trampoline in years! I was scared, pretty much trembling at first of the thought of me bouncing then break a hip or leg or something, but when I told the girls I was going to jump with them you all should have seen the big smiles on their faces! How could I back out now after seeing those huge grins?
Since I was on the trampolines with the girls, I got firsthand feel of how well put together the trampoline gyms were, also how clean they were too.
This trampoline park uses to be Monkey Joes, a building full of bounce houses for little kids, which I use to take my girls there when they were toddlers. Once they grew out of inflatable bounce houses, we stopped going. However, I'm glad to see what this building has become now, so my girls who are now older can return.
Bouncing on trampolines is such great exercise, and with me jumping on them I got my workout in for the day. But, it did show me that I'm out of shape, I was huffing, puffing, nearly out of breath! I even crashed landed on my back when I lost my balance trying to shoot hoops! Ouch!
I have been to a lot of trampoline parks with the girls, and XtremeHopp is a cut above the rest thanks to their cafe with a fresh, healthy menu. That's something you don't see at places like these.
XtremeHopp has a full kitchen and makes cook-to-order food that is nutritious. Places like these are meant for people to get active and live healthier lives, not fill their guest with empty calories of candies, sodas, and artificial nacho cheese.
They have King of Pops!!! |
I ordered a veggie cheese quesadilla filled with fresh peppers, mushrooms, and onions, the food tasted as if I went to a sit-down health foods restaurant. I was truly amazed! Michelle's quesadilla came with a side of fruits! Other trampoline parks need to follow suit!
XtremeHopp in Johns Creek is having a grand opening, Friday, June 29th! Make sure to visit their website for specials, and sign their waiver form to speed through the process. They are located right behind Dollar Tree. 5805 State Bridge Road, Johns Creek, GA 30097
Disclosure: I received media passes in exchange for my honest opinions.
Now you girls look like you had a good time. I'd be bouncing all over the place lol.
