Have you heard the news? The Chevy Trailblazer returns with a bold new look that's modern and fresh, with the latest technology. This sculpted beauty is an SUV you want to drive all over town, hit the highways, or do a bit of off-road driving.
There are multiple trims to choose from ACTIV, RS, and LT. And I had the pleasure of blazing through the Atlanta streets in the 2021 Chevrolet Trailblazer AWD RS. The RS model is the street-racing style, similar to the Blazer I drove last year.
Look wise, the Trailblazer looks like its bigger counterpart, the Blazer, but coming in a compact size for those who need an SUV that's a bit smaller.
But, don't let the Trailblazer size fool you; it's packing plenty of legroom and cargo space. The back seat can be folded down for more added space, including the front passenger seat.
The exterior being a cool stain steel gray metallic, with the interior jet black with red accents, gives the car a sporty look. It has you feeling like the cool kid on the block!
And the wow-factor doesn't stop there!
The Trailblazer doesn't drive like a regular SUV; it takes off and goes, FAST! You'd think you were driving a race car! The power with this car makes you feel like you're driving a Camaro. No lie!
I had the car for a few days, but it significantly impacted me in a good way, and here's why...
Over the weekend, the girls and I took a quick trip in the Chevy Trailblazer to Stone Mountain Park for a fun evening at their fall festival.
Once we arrived, we noticed that dark clouds were rolling in, so we knew our time at Stone Mountain Park would be cut short. Not even an hour after our arrival, it started to downpour. So we quickly ran to the Trailblazer to get out of the rain.
We drove up the road to the nearby Marriott hotel to dry off and get dinner before heading home.
Now, the drive home was a bit scary due to the flash floods. There is an option for All-Wheel Drive with the Trailblazer, so the car gave me better traction control while driving through huge puddles of water. I felt safe driving through the storm, and the bright LED headlights gave me a good view of the slippery roads to avoid high standing water.
The Trailblazer got us home safely, thank goodness! Chevy cars always amaze me! I see why they have a loyal following.

What I also love about the 2021 Chevy Trailblazer AWD RS is the price! The starting price for a standard Trailblazer is $19k, and the AWD RS model is $30,580.00. So, you get a lot for your money!
Chevrolet has a vast lineup of SUVs that fits everyone's wants and needs. I'm excited they brought back the Trailblazer to be among their family of vehicles. Make sure to read about the other Chevy SUVs I've tested out.
