It's the most wonderful time of the year at Ponce City Market on the Rooftop. The Roof at Ponce City Market is having a Holidays on the Roof event, creating the 10th rooftop floor into a winter dreamland featuring a 3,500-square-foot ice skating rink, six private igloos, a pop-up holiday social bar, festive food and drinks at the 12 Cocktail Bar. And, of course, the perfect holiday decor for those Instagramable moments!
My girls and I got to preview Holidays on the Roof and was mesmerized by the beautiful venue! If you're in the bah humbug mood, Holidays on the Roof will get you in the spirit of Christmas once you walk out of the elevator and embrace the sparkling, cheerful displays.
One of the most unique things we got to try out was one of the igloos, a hot commodity this year, helping keep people safe and at a social distance. Each igloo is dressed up in its own holiday style and colors, giving a warm, at-home, cozy feel. It's like gathering around the fireplace with family and friends while being served a holiday meal and treats. So delightful!
There are three unique igloo options to choose from:
9 Mile Station Igloos
Restaurant igloos are located on the 9 Mile Station patio. These igloos include full dining service for up to 6 guests (all must be 21+) and ice skating, not to mention the most extraordinary views of all 3 Atlanta skylines!
21 and Older Igloos
Skating rink igloos are located next directly adjacent to our rink on the terrace. They have incredible views of the skyline and are incredibly well-staffed for all your food and beverage needs. Igloos include ice skating and access to the igloo service.
Family-friendly Igloos
Family-friendly igloos at the skating rink are available on Saturday & Sunday afternoons only with a special kid’s menu. Ponce's resident Ice Queen will be skating and performing 12-3pm on Saturday and Sundays.
Ice skating was a huge hit with my daughters, too; it was like they were skating under the starry clouds, giving off a dreamy setting while skating to Christmas tunes.
And the pop-up bar is a massive hit that the 21+ crowd will enjoy! Serving up the spirits of Christmas, if you know what I mean! Walk inside the Holiday Social Bar and be whisked away by the over-the-top experience of whimsical decor and specialized holiday-inspired drinks. Cheers!
