I love the fact that Mellow Mushroom's modern-style menu brings tasty dishes for different taste buds. Yes, they are known for their famous stone-baked pizzas, but Mellow Mushroom has diners covered for those looking for something else to satisfy their taste buds.
Check out what new items Mellow Mushroom introduced last month:
Avocado Smash– Made fresh to order, a blend of avocados, salt, garlic, and lime served with fresh bruschetta made from diced Roma tomatoes, feta cheese, and fresh basil and served with toast points.
Teriyaki Wings–Sweet and slightly salty, the Teriyaki Sauce wings are double-baked and available as 5, 10, or 20-piece orders alongside guest favorite flavors like jerk, BBQ, and sweet Thai chili.
Elevated Cobb Salad– Antibiotic-free Spring Mountain Farms chicken, Applewood smoked bacon, fresh avocados, crumbled blue cheese, and sliced Roma tomatoes sits atop a bed of chopped romaine lettuce.
Mellow Chick Salad– Homemade chicken salad made with dried cherries, sweet onions, chopped pecans, and freshly made curried mayo, served with slices of cucumber, carrots, celery and Roma tomatoes on a bed of spring mix and drizzled with balsamic vinaigrette.
Backyard BBQ Pie– Roasted pork tossed in house-made BBQ sauce with mozzarella cheese and roasted mild poblano peppers, topped with sweet Peppadew® peppers and chives, and then finished with Mellow’s signature garlic butter and parmesan cheese.
Wild in Havana Pie– Jerk marinated pork, ham, salami, Swiss and mozzarella cheeses, diced pickles, and a mayo-mustard drizzle, this specialty pie was inspired by Mellow Mushroom’s Home Grown Challenge, where team members across the country submitted their recipes.
Havana Hoagie– An inspired version of a pressed Cuban sandwich, the hoagie is topped with grilled pork, ham, and pickle slices, topped with melted Swiss cheese and a right amount of mustard.
“The Mellow culinary team really hit it out of the park with these new menu items, offering a variety of flavors and choices for our guests,” said Anne Mejia, Mellow Mushroom Vice President Brand Development.
“Between these new menu items and the Liquid Karma Cocktails we recently added, Mellow Mushroom guests have so many new options to build their perfect meal from start to finish.”
The new cocktails added to the beverage menu are liquid karma in a glass. Made with super-premium ingredients, unique flavor profiles, and specialty garnishes, the updated beverage menu offers six new cocktails, including more margarita options. Each margarita has its own distinct flavor profile for guests to customize their margarita experience.
In addition to the new menu, Mellow Mushroom has created a new online ordering system that is easier, faster, and delivers better customer satisfaction. Now, through January 3, 2021, online guests can opt into a sweepstake to win art prizes, including limited edition art prints, T-shirts, pullovers, and displayable art. Each guest who enters the Art of Mellow sweepstakes receives a digital art gift as well. Since we don't eat pork, the girls and I tried out only the Teriyaki wings and Avocado Smash to accompany our freshly made personal pizzas. Both new dishes were delicious, and we'll be ordering it again on our next visit.
