Warmer days call for tasty BBQ! Don't you agree? My favorite recipe style of BBQ is Memphis and Texas! Yum!
Over the weekend, my daughters and I visited the second-largest BBQ full-service restaurant, Smokey Bones, which has recipes and uses techniques from around the country like Texas, Memphis, St. Louis, Kansas City, and North Carolina.
And the diverse menu doesn't stop there; Smokey Bones introduced new flavors with global influences from outside of the US, like Jamaica, China, Japan, and India.
All hail the Protein Candy Store!
Their vast menu has something to feed everyone's taste buds.
It was hard for me to choose what I wanted to feast on as my main dish, but eventually, I narrow it down to the two-pound giant beef rib!
Before the main course, as our appetizer, together we chose the shareable BBQ chicken nachos.
That hunk of meat is slow-smoked overnight and ultra-tender. No knife necessary; the meat was falling off the bone, good. I couldn't eat it all and had to split it with the girls.
