I enjoyed the evening this week visiting the hottest Atlanta spot, TWO Urban Licks! I've heard many good things about this restaurant, so I had to drop in to see all the excitement.
TWO Urban Licks is a staple in the Old Fourth Ward community, where the trendy restaurants and shops reside. This eatery is tucked away on the Beltline inside a modern, industrial warehouse with city views.
TWO Urban Licks is an American rotisserie fare and live blues and jazz joint that will have you not wanting to leave! It's a great place to hang out, eat good, and be entertained.
When you walk inside, instantly, you smell the aroma of the smoked meat, so I knew I was in for some good eatin'.
And the dark ambiance makes the place warm and cozy. The beautiful artwork display is the main focal point on the restaurant's center wall, which gives a lovely aesthetic. Also, in the center, you can see the chefs cooking.
The weather was beautiful, so my daughters and I opted to eat on the patio to enjoy some sunlight, take in some fresh air, watch the people walking by on the Beltline, while enjoying our delicious meals.
TWO Urban Licks may be an American restaurant, but that doesn't mean the food is like any other place; their foods are more modish and hip, with their own personal touches.

I asked my friendly waitress about the best dishes on the menu, and she told me that when it came to the appetizer, the salmon chips were the most ordered by guests. And the main entrée, the most popular, are the rotisserie chicken, smoked brisket, and seared duck breast.
She wasn't kidding about the salmon chips being the top-picked appetizer; it seemed like all the guests around us were ordering it. And here's an interesting fact, I learned that TWO Urban Licks sold over 70,000 salmon chips last year! Incredible! I'm glad we got a taste of these savory chips, similar to eating those salmon bagels with cream cheese, but instead of a bagel, it's eaten with bbq chips.
I got the beef brisket with a side of greens for my main dish, and boy does this big hunk of juicy meat melt in your mouth! So good! The collard greens were tasty as well.
To finish off my meal, I treated myself to a creamy flan dessert.
My daughters enjoyed their meals, too; check out what they ate below.

TWO Urban Licks is a bustling place, so making a reservation is highly recommended. Also, parking can get full fast, so expect to have your car parked by valet; the fee is $3 plus a tip.
Be prepared to spend about $40 to $60 per person when dining at TWO Urban Licks; it's pricy but well worth it!
You can't beat that with great food, good service, and beautiful decor!
Afterwards, visit next door and check out the Illuminarium Experiences, an immersive theater.
And here are some more fun things to do around Atlanta in the Old Fourth Ward District.
