With school back in session, we've been too busy to go do our Girl's Day Out lately.
However, the girls and I got out for a weekend fun day at the Illuminarium in Atlanta to see SPACE: A Journey to the Moon & Beyond.

Review of Illuminarium SPACE: A Journey To The Moon & Beyond
When you arrive at your selected time on your ticket, you're ushered into room number 1, which introduces you to the exhibit, making you feel like you stepped foot into space without boarding a space shuttle.
Room 2, with over $15 million worth of technology hanging from the ceiling, and seeing your footprints on the floor or the puddles of water ripple under your feet is very captivating!
This massive room is a great place to either stand and walk around while you view the Space story or kick up your feet on the lounge seating while taking in all the breathtaking views.
I thought the experience was fun and relaxing, a great escape from the everyday life's hustle and bustle. It's perfect for a family day to escape the rain and cold weather.
Also, for those 21 and older, Illuminarium offers after-dark entertainment with a full bar and savory small bites.
With Illuminarium being centrally located near other hotspots in Atlanta, you can make a full-day itinerary of fun things to do in Atlanta.
Illuminarium offers a sit-down cafe indoors and patio seating on the Beltline. And guests can drop into The Illuminarium Shop to purchase souvenirs to commemorate their visit.
