Have you heard of CeraVe skincare products?
If not, you must have been living under a rock because it is one of the most popular skincare brands on the market!
I have been using CeraVe skincare products for a while now, and my skin has been incredibly soft, nourished, and restored.
What is CeraVe?
CeraVe offers a complete line of cleansers, moisturizers, and more that contain three essential ceramides to help restore the skin's protective barrier.
I heard all the noise about CeraVe through social media, and the first product I started using was the acne control cleanser.
What I like about CeraVe Acne Control Cleanser is that it's gentle on the skin while treating acne and blackheads. I only use this cleanser when I have breakouts.
When my skin requires hydration, I switch to CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser. I like to use this cleanser during the fall and winter months to keep my skin from becoming dehydrated.
Also, after cleansing, I use CeraVe's Moisturizing Cream on the face, including the body, since it deeply locks in moisture.
I'm telling you, CeraVe has been a game-changer for my skin!
Who would have thought that skincare products you can pick up from grocery stores and drug stores would work as well as prescription skincare products?
And I must mention that CeraVe was developed along with dermatologists. Even my current dermatologist on Musely recommended I use CeraVe during my spot treatments.
I've used almost all of CeraVe's skincare product line, but it was missing one crucial ingredient, vitamin C!
Why wasn't there a vitamin C product line?
What are the Skin Benefits of Vitamin C?
Vitamin C in skincare products helps improve wrinkles, as well as improve overall skin texture and appearance. In addition, the anti-inflammatory properties of vitamin C reduce redness and dark spots, giving the skin a more even, clear, smooth skin tone.
I have been a member of BzzAgent for years, a company that offers products for you to test out for free and give your opinions.
BzzAgent recently sent me an email to try out CeraVe's new vitamin C serum.
When that email stated that CeraVe now has a vitamin C serum, I knew I had to try it out and add it to my current CeraVe skincare collection.
I have hyperpigmentation due to old acne scars, so I use vitamin C products to help brighten my skin tone.
CeraVe Skin Renewing Vitamin C Serum Review
The CeraVe Skin Renewing Vitamin C Serum is a unique formula with 3 essential ceramides, 10% pure vitamin C, hyaluronic acid, and vitamin B5, that help brighten the skin while helping restore the protective skin barrier.
This CeraVe serum, when you first look at it, reminds me of ointment due to its packaging. However, I like it because it's easy to distribute the product all over my face.
The serum is very lightweight and sheer that quickly absorbs into the skin. It gives the skin a natural glow, making dark marks less visible without irritation.
Also, this serum pairs great with other products like moisturizers and SPF.
You'll notice, after regular use, that dark marks will begin to fade.
I wanted to give this serum five stars; however, it expires after 6 months. I wish it lasted for a year since I like to switch up my skincare products weekly or depending on my skin's needs.
You must add CeraVe to your skincare routine if you haven't already! CeraVe skincare products are affordable and have products that cater to all skincare needs.
I love Cerave products! You know I'll be on the lookout for the Vitamin C serum. I have pesky dark spots that haven't quite faded. Thanks for sharing, girl! And I appreciate the note about the 6 month expiration, too.
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome girl! I know you'll love this serum!
