Toyota took me on tour recently, highlighting several important historical and cultural landmarks throughout Atlanta. It was great to steep into the history of influential black leaders.
To soak up more of this inspiring city, Toyota dropped off the 2023 Sienna XSE for me to enjoy during Black History Month. In addition, I stopped by several of my favorite black-owned spots that you should visit here in the Metro Atlanta area.
This 7-passenger van is a showstopper! When it pulled up in my driveway, I knew I was in for a fun week! I drove a Toyota Sienna in 2020 and loved it, and it was a pleasure to cruise around town in the latest model.
What's different with the 2023 model is the sharper and edgier styling. And it feels and looks more prominent as well.
The Sienna is a legendary minivan. It's been the go-to van for drivers for the past 25 years! History-making, just like Atlanta.
And with it being a hybrid, I spent less time at the pumps and more time going places.
The price for this beauty is $47K. And I highly recommend this van! Besides being the perfect van for families, the only downside was the pull-down roof TV blocking my rearview. Toyota should place it behind the armrest.
Check out some of my favorite black-owned spots I went to:
The Village Market at Ponce City Market is a marketplace of various apparel/merchandise, all-natural products, and foods that Black artisans create. There is always something new to check out every time I visit. I love the fact that my money is supporting other entrepreneurs like myself.

Juices Wild Vitamin & Juice Bar is a vitamin store and juice bar featuring fresh, all-natural, all-organic juices, smoothies, and protein shakes. They are located in Sugar Hill, Georgia. I love getting my vitamins and protein shakes here.
Scrum-did-dly-ump-tious is a new brunch joint in downtown Lawrenceville, Georgia, offering delicious breakfast, brunch, and lunch. This place is such a vibe with flavorful dishes, fantastic service, and good ol' southern food!
Remember, the best way to honor the past will always be through the present. So make sure to show your support to local black-owned businesses.
And make sure to visit your local Toyota dealer.
