When choosing a place to stay for my family, I'm looking for a condo or cabin with several rooms since I travel with my older teen girls. We all like to have our own space without feeling like we are cramped together. Also, get that home away from home feel.

I was traveling for work and also needed desk space for my laptop.
We have stayed in several hotels, condos, and even a cabin in Pigeon Forge. We recently returned to Riverstone Resort and Spa since we loved everything about this beautiful resort.
When booking our condo at Riverstone, I went directly to their website instead of Priceline since I saved more money that way. With Priceline added-on fees, I would've paid over $400 more! Usually, I would save money using Priceline, but not this time.
During our last stay back in 2021, Riverstone started its multi-million dollar renovations, so we stayed in one of their older condo suites. Even though it was an older design, it was still very nice with a darker rustic feel. Even if Riverstone kept the same decor, it would still look luxurious.
Riverstone has a more modern look with a light rustic touch with the new renovations. The condos have brand-new cozy furnishings, appliances, Smart TVs, and more. Even the exterior buildings have a new, softer shade.
With the recent renovations, the condo smelled fresh, brand new, clean, and airy, making our stay relaxing and welcoming. So it was easy to kick back and settle down after a busy day exploring the Smoky Mountains.
Riverstone offers 1-4 bedroom condos with fully stocked modern kitchens, living rooms with gas fireplaces, flat-screen TVs in each room, spacious bathrooms, free WiFi, and balconies with views of either the golf course or river.
When it comes to Riverstone's amenities, they offer an indoor pool, an outdoor lazy river with waterfalls, and a riverfront picnic and BBQ area. Also, they provide full spa service if you want to be pampered.
During our last stay, we stayed in the two-bedroom condo with one of my daughters sleeping on the sofabed in the living room; this trip, I booked a three-bedroom, so everyone has their own room.
Again, just like the last trip, we were placed in the 2nd building across from the clubhouse (the clubhouse has a 24-hour indoor pool, fitness center, and game room). However, we were on the top 6th floor this time, so we had vaulted ceilings that gave the condo more height and a bigger feel.
But since this particular suite was not pet-friendly, we did not have a front door patio.
If you saw my previous review of Riverstone Resort, you saw that we brought our guinea pigs. Unfortunately, our guinea pigs didn't come with us during this trip; however, Riverstone only allows dogs; they gave us a pass last time since they are caged. But still, give Riverstone a call if you have a pet other than a dog; they may provide you an exception. There is a $25 fee a day for pets.
Suppose you're looking for a beautiful resort for your family in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. In that case, Riverstone Resort and Spa is an excellent option. At Riverstone, you'll have a memorable stay at one of Smoky Mountain's top-rated resorts.
