Spring break is a week-long vacation for students, often spent in sunny destinations. Whether you're staying close to home or traveling far, there are plenty of family-friendly locations to unwind before heading back to school and work.

Below, I have listed spring break ideas for those who would prefer to spend less money or want to splurge on their trip.  Lounge at the beach, enjoy mountain life's adventures, or even have a staycation; there are so many things you could do during your spring break.


St. Croix, US Virgin Islands

 No passport needed when visiting St. Croix if you're a US citizen.  Beautiful picturesque warm turquoise water, sandy white sand, St. Croix is a tropical destination for those looking for relaxation without all the crowds.  Friendly people, great food, with views you thought you would only find on postcards.


Myrtle Beach, South Carolina
