Years ago, while driving through New Braunfels, Texas, we encountered an enormous gas station with rows of gas pumps for miles with a massive convenience store called Buc-ee's.
With so many people gathering around this travel center, I had to see what was happening, even though we didn't need gas or needed a bathroom break.
Stepping inside the travel center, behold the swarm of people grabbing goods like beef brisket sandwiches, beaver nuggets, Buc-ee's merchandise, drinks, and other random stuff. Plus, Buc-ee's has the most prominent and cleanest gas station bathrooms. I like to call Buc-ee's the Walmart of Gas Stations.
Since that visit to Buc-ee's in 2014, I have been hooked! I became one of what you would call "Buc-ee's Cult Followers." I remember saying I wish Buc-ee's was in Georgia and Tennessee.
Now look, years later, Buc-ee's has been expanding all over the South!
During my road trips, I stop if Buc-ee's is nearby; even if nothing is needed, I enjoy the experience.
Now, I can jump for joy with a new Buc-ee's making its debut in Sevierville, TN! You know, the homeplace of Dolly Parton!
Now, those visiting Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg can stop and check out this exciting travel center.
On Monday, June 26, 2023, the newest Buc-ee's travel center will open its doors to the public in Sevierville, Tennessee. Known for its clean bathrooms, fresh food, and friendly beaver, Buc-ee's is excited to welcome visitors starting at 6 a.m. EST. A ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place at 11:00 EST, and local and state leaders will be in attendance to join in the celebration.
Buc-ee's Sevierville will soon be the largest travel center globally, boasting a 74,000-square-foot floor plan. This record will stand until a 75,000-square-foot location in Luling, TX, opens in Texas.
If you're traveling on Interstate 40 and Winfield Dunn Parkway, Buc-ee's Sevierville is conveniently located at exit 407. The travel center offers 120 fueling positions and a wide variety of snack, meal, and drink options for people on the go. Buc-ee's Sevierville also has a state-of-the-art car wash (coming soon), award-winning restrooms, cheap gas, high-quality products, and excellent service.
For 40 years, Buc-ee's has been a trusted business in the South, known for their Texas barbeque, homemade fudge, kolaches, Beaver Nuggets, jerky, and fresh pastries. But, of course, all of these favorites are also available at Buc-ee's Sevierville.
State and local leaders attending the ribbon-cutting ceremony will include Sevierville Mayor Robbie Fox, Sevier County Mayor Larry Waters, EBCI Principal Chief Richard Sneed, and many other partners and officials who helped Buc-ee's bring the project to Sevierville.
After the opening of Buc-ee's Sevierville, Buc-ee's will operate 46 stores across Texas and the South. Buc-ee's Sevierville is the second Buc-ee's location in Tennessee, joining Buc-ee's Crossville, which debuted on June 27, 2022. Since its multi-state expansion in 2019, Buc-ee's has opened travel centers in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, South Carolina, and Tennessee. Additionally, Buc-ee's recently announced the brand is headed West with store groundbreakings in Colorado and Missouri. The first Virginia location was announced in March of this year.

Buc-ee's Sevierville will bring at least 200 new full-time jobs to the area with starting pay well above minimum wage, full benefits, a 100% matching 401k up to 6%, and three weeks of paid vacation.
