Happy 40th Birthday to Me! What I Look Forward to in this New Decade

Another chapter is closed, and a new chapter begins!  Happy 40th Birthday to me! 🎂

My 30s was a roller coaster ride of ups and downs, mainly ups.  I spent my 30s achieving goals I had set for myself, like buying a house, working for myself full-time, making six figures blogging, having my blog trademarked, finally getting a passport, and, most importantly, getting my health back on track.

I set my goals in my 20s and 30s so that when I hit my 40s, I can enjoy the fruits of my labor, having the freedom to do as I please.

As I enter my 40s, I've adopted a more carefree approach to life.  I prioritize my own happiness rather than constantly trying to please others.  I've found myself spending less time on social media and more time enjoying the present moment.  So, if you haven't heard from me lately, it's because I'm living life to the fullest.

I also feel more confident and self-aware than ever before.  I'm excited to embrace new opportunities and see where God takes me.

Also, as I enter my 40s, I am cherishing the special moments with my daughters before they leave home and begin their adult lives.

My journey towards better health and wellness continues.  I'm proud to say that I've been able to lower my blood pressure, lose weight, and reduce the size of my thyroid goiter due to a change in my diet and regular exercise.

So, what is going to happen to this blog in my 40s?

My interests and activities will evolve as I age, so I will write about my current likes and endeavors.

So, what you'll see most are my skincare routines to keep my skin glowing, vibrant, and youthful, exploring new interests, my latest fashion trends, my health and wellness journey, side hustles, new cars, focusing on retirement, and my travels with and without my daughters.

I am delighted to have this platform to share with all of you the things that bring me joy and take you along the journey.  I am genuinely thankful for all the love and support you have given me throughout the years!
