My 100th Club Pilates Class Milestone and Why I Love It!

I shared the news on Instagram, but it's worth sharing here on Product Review Mom.

Guess what!

I recently completed 100 classes at Club Pilates, which is a massive achievement for me! It took me over a year since I did two classes a week since I also do two days a week at the gym.

I'm so thankful to Lauren for recommending we join Pilates. She wasn't interested in joining me at the gym because she thought my gym was boring, small, and filled with older people.

Before I started Pilates, I thought it would be easy because I lift weights at the gym, and boy, was I wrong!

Pilates works muscles that I never knew I had! After the first class, I couldn't move for days because I was so sore. I was asking Lauren, "What did you get us into?"

But I wouldn't let the soreness hold me down; I'm in it for the long haul and want to stay strong and healthy.

Thanks to Pilates, I'm stronger, leaner, more flexible, have better posture, and even lowered my blood pressure.

I highly recommend it if you have ever considered joining Pilates, whether at Club Pilates or a traditional studio!

Club Pilates vs. Classical Pilates

There are some differences between Club Pilates and Classical Pilates studios.

Club Pilates is a contemporary studio suitable for beginners. It offers a modern approach with larger classes and more equipment.

Classical Pilates studios, on the other hand, typically have smaller classes, less equipment, and more hands-on instruction from the instructor.

Additionally, Club Pilates may appeal to individuals looking for a more contemporary and varied experience. At the same time, classical Pilates studios attract those seeking a more intimate and personalized setting for their practice.

Both options have unique benefits, so it ultimately depends on what you want in a Pilates studio.

My Favorite Club Pilates Classes

At Club Pilates, I can choose which classes suit my fitness level and which instructor teaches each class.

My top favorites are:

CP Reformer Flow 1.0 and 1.5—This class is full-body, Reformer-based Pilates. You will experience the benefits of classical Pilates with a twist. Not only do you do Pilates on the Reformer, but there are also workouts on the mat, springboard, TRX, EXO-Chair, and more!

CP Cardio Sculpt—This class is high-energy but low-impact. You do an aerobic workout on a jump board while on the reformer. It gets your heart pumping and sweating. This is also another full-body workout that is proven to increase bone density.

CP Center+Balance—When my body feels tight, and I need a good stretch, this class helps me loosen up. It also reduces soreness and muscle fatigue.

CP Suspend—This class is a Reformer-based workout combined with TRX. The TRX challenges stability, coordination, strength, mobility, and balance.

I've been loving my progress on this health and wellness journey and am thankful to you for following along!

Now, my next goal is to complete 250!
