For all the SheaMoisture fans, did you hear the news?
SheaMoisture now has a melanin-rich skincare collection that is called Nourished & Radiant.
This skin-loving collection combines the power of natural ingredients and scientifically proven skincare actives (Elderberry Complex, Pro-Ceramides, Niacinamide, and Salicylic Acid) to cater to your daily skincare needs: balanced tone, hydration, rejuvenation, and acne management.
I'm thrilled that SheaMoisture has launched a new skincare line, the Nourished & Radiant collection.
This is a significant addition since the last one I know about is their African Black Soap skincare product collection.
I'm a big fan of SheaMoisture, so when I was asked to review their latest skincare products, I had to take advantage of this opportunity.
As a Black brand, SheaMoisture's products are made with me in mind, catering to my beauty needs.
This is what's in the collection:
- Gentle Cream Cleanser
- Night Repair Cream
- Broad Spectrum SPF 30 Sunscreen Face Lotion
- Even Tone Serum
- Acne Treatment Serum with 2% Salicylic Acid
My Review of SheaMoisture Nourished & Radiant Line
First, when I opened the package, I was disappointed to see how small the products were. Being heavy-handed, I would go through these products quickly.
Anyway...
SheaMoisture Gentle Cream Cleanser: I have severe skin barrier issues, dry patches, and uneven skin tone, to the point that I'm back to wearing heavy makeup again. After the first use of this gentle cleanser, I noticed a difference in my skin. The cleanser is fragrance-free and lathers like a milky cream, so there are no suds. After washing my face, my skin is so soft and hydrated. It is like my skin was born again!
SheaMoisture Even Tone Serum: I'm more of a cream-based serum user, but I was willing to give this serum a chance. It is oil-based; a few drops are all that is needed to massage all over the skin. It's very lightweight and non-sticky. It is also not oily, so there is no need to worry about clogging the skin. The serum absorbs into the skin within a few minutes. It can be used morning and night before using a moisturizer.
SheaMoisture Acne Treatment Serum 2% Salicylic Acid: This is another oil-based treatment, which I usually use a cream acne treatment. Cover the affected area with a thin layer with the dropper one to three times daily until the acne disappears. I'm still trying to see if the product works. But it seems promising.
SheaMoisture Broad Spectrum SPF 30 Sunscreen Face Lotion: I love sunscreen that plays triple duty, like being a moisturizer with SPF and evens skin tone. And best of all, it doesn't leave a white cast! This is a huge win because it is hard to find SPF products that don't leave you looking ashy. I had to resort to using a Japanese SPF brand. But now I can start using SheaMoisture!
SheaMoisture Night Repair Cream: If your skin barrier needs strengthening, this repair cream is it! It's a thick, fast-absorbing cream that works its magic overnight, so you wake up to healthy-looking balanced skin. It is a great way to start your day with hydrated skin. During the winter months, it's good to use this night cream during the day when your skin is feeling extra dry.
There are more in this product line, and I bet they are just as good.
SheaMoisture's Nourished & Radiant collection has truly impressed me with its gentle yet effective skincare products. Each product is thoughtfully formulated to address various skincare concerns, from the nourishing cleanser to the hydrating night repair cream.
As a long-time fan of SheaMoisture, I'm delighted to see the brand expand its offerings to include a melanin-rich skincare line that caters to diverse beauty needs.
I'm happy to add these products to my daily skincare routine.
Awesome, hope the products continue to work well for you.
ReplyDeleteThanks Sis! I know they will!
