Over the weekend, I attended a media event, the GatherUp Health & Wellness New Product Showcase, where brands shared about their products and new releases.
I love discovering new brands, especially small businesses in my area.
So much good stuff was at this event, including healthy drinks, eyewear, aesthetics, activewear, beauty products, tasty treats, and more!
All companies at GatherUp event are local Atlanta businesses, so if you're ever in Metro Atlanta, check them out. Here are those I met below:
Ginger Yums Ginger Juice: If you've been following this blog for a while, you might remember my visit to The Ginger Room in Alpharetta. They offer British tea served in a high-tea setting. Additionally, the owners have a Ginger Sip room, which features natural fruit and herb drinks infused with ginger.
Ginger is known for its incredible health benefits for the entire body. I've enjoyed these juices at my local farmers' market and get them each time I visit. I highly recommend them!
Auntie Kim's Pound Cakes: Auntie Kim's pound cakes are made with love, and you can taste it in every bite. Kim was a stay-at-home mom who loved baking pound cakes and did it exceptionally well! Auntie Kim's pound cakes are made with the freshest ingredients, including rich, creamy butter, fresh eggs, and the purest extracts.
I enjoyed sampling her cakes; they were incredibly moist, soft, and, most importantly, delicious!
Treehouse Milk: If you're like me and don't drink milk but are searching for a milk alternative, Treehouse Milk made from pecans is a fantastic option. It's deliciously creamy—precisely the kind of milk you wish you had as a kid. Almond milk can't compare to the taste of Treehouse Milk! Pecans are packed with antioxidants (more than any other tree nut) and contain heart-healthy fats.
You can easily blend this delightful milk into your smoothie, add a splash to your morning coffee, or use it to replenish your energy after a run.
Ché Rene Macarons: French macarons with a southern touch! Ché Rene has been a professional baker and cake designer for 26 years. Ché's desserts are incredibly delicious, which she attributes to her southern roots and strong daily devotion to spirituality that keeps her grounded. She offers over 40 decadent flavors, luxury gifting for personal, exclusive, and corporate events, and wholesale and retail options.
Anwulie Eyewear: Founded by Optometrist Dr. Nwamaka Ngoddy in 2019, Anwulie Eyewear is created and designed intentionally with Black and African features in mind. All glasses are stylish, making great statement pieces.
I tried on a pair, and I love how well it sits on the bridge of my nose without feeling tight or about to fall off. These glasses remind me of another brand I like, Tribal Eyes.
Body20: Are you trying to fit a workout into your busy schedule? BODY20 offers personalized, one-on-one strength training sessions that are just 20 minutes long. These sessions deliver actual results through a tech-driven and efficient workout experience.
BODY20 is a boutique fitness studio that utilizes an FDA-cleared electro-muscle stimulation suit. In each 20-minute training session, your coach will guide you through a customized program, providing your body with over 150 times more muscle contractions than a conventional workout, all without the need for traditional gym equipment.
The NOW Massage: Are you seeking a place to relax and recharge? The NOW is crafted to be a sanctuary away from the bustling city. Its aesthetic features raw elements and natural materials, creating a chic, minimalist oasis.
The interiors draw inspiration from nature, showcasing natural wood surfaces and exposed beams complemented by sheep skins, rawhides, cactus galleries, and crystal grids. Each element aligns with nature, forming the ultimate escape for exceptional relaxation.
Dirty Beauty Skincare: Make this your year to create your own beauty brand! Dirty Beauty Skincare has cosmetics manufacturing kits to help you launch your brand in 12 months. Each kit is engineered to simplify the process, offering formulation opportunities, step-by-step guides, and high-quality ingredients to practice real-world small-scale cosmetic manufacturing.
Cheeky Maiden Soap: Anything we put on our skin gets into our body, and what we put in our body will show on our skin, so that's why Carter's at Cheeky Maiden Soap offers some of the cleanest and most affordable body care and household cleaners available. If you want to avoid chemical-laden soaps and cleaners, check out Cheeky Maiden Soap.
I sniffed several Cheeky Maiden Soap laundry detergent, and it smelled heavenly! I can't wait to try their products!
Ever Party: Have you ever partied too hard the night before and woken up with a hangover? Ever Party revolutionary dissolvable oral strips, formulated with potent Ayurvedic ingredients, are your all-in-one solution to conquer those post-party blues.
Fruve: Are you not getting enough fruits and vegetables in your diet? Fruve has you covered with its on-the-go drinks, which contain 15 servings of fruits and vegetables in every can and bottle.
I had samples, and Fruve is deliciously flavorful without an aftertaste.
Vertical Activewear: Vertical Activewear is a sustainable apparel brand and manufacturer that produces activewear on demand. This means they only create clothing as needed, eliminating excess inventory and reducing waste. Additionally, their activewear is made from recycled materials.
Spinerado: Spinerado launched its own custom collection of sustainable apparel through Vertical Activewear. Spinerado is a collection of tennis-inspired activewear with a Los Angeles vibe. Their apparel is crafted for champions, combining cutting-edge design with unmatched performance.
Inspire Wellness & Aesthetics: Inspire Wellness & Aesthetics is physician-founded and focused on longevity and quality of life. It offers Biohacking, Anti-aging, an Aesthetic Foot and nail Clinic, Redlight, Sauna, and Injectables/Skin Care.
The GatherUp Health & Wellness New Product Showcase was a fantastic opportunity to explore an array of innovative products from local Atlanta businesses.
Each brand brought something unique to the table, whether it was delicious food options, health-conscious alternatives, or wellness services.
I left the event feeling inspired and excited to support these small businesses that prioritize quality and creativity.
