Look what I recently got to see and be in! The World's Fastest and only All-Wheel-Drive Muscle Car, the 2025 Dodge Charger Daytona Scat Pack.
I attended my auto group luncheon at The Country Club of the South to learn more about this high-adrenaline rush vehicle.
First, what caught my attention was that this vehicle is all-electric—yes, electric! Ditching the V8 engine.
But what made me wonder: Wouldn't it make the car slower if it is electric?
Nope!
It's a powerful performing vehicle, clocking in at 670 horsepower, a 3.3-second 0-60 time, and an 11.5-second quarter mile race time.
I got into the passenger seat to get a feel for this car, and man, it had my heart jumping out of my chest. It's definitely a force to be reckoned with. I didn't get behind the wheel; instead, I played passenger princess since I'm not used to driving muscle cars.
However, while watching one of my group members drive, it seems like it has great handling and configurable settings for fast-speed modes, so I don't have to go full-speed ahead if I don't want to.
The 2025 Dodge Charger Daytona Scat Pack features a unique stimulated exhaust system that enhances the driving experience. While the vehicle is all-electric, this system mimics the deep, rumbling sound of a classic V8 engine, giving drivers that unmistakable muscle car feel.
And by a push of a button, you can turn off the rumbling sound.
What I like about this Dodge Daytona is that it looks like an assertive muscle car, unlike those soft, jelly bean-looking electric cars. I'm talking to you, Tesla! Ha!
Okay, are you wondering how much the starting price is?
Starting MSRP is $74k.
Yes, pricey. But it's a powerful, roaring muscle car. It's fun to drive and be in.
Usually, I only review family vehicles. However, the 2025 Dodge Charger Daytona will also have a 4-door option, so those with small families wanting a thrilling car can have one.
However, I must say that the back seat of the two-door model is quite spacious; it's just that getting in and out can be a bit cramped.
Hopefully, I'll be able to face my fear of fast cars and get behind the wheel myself because, I never know, I may end up falling in love with muscle cars. Plus, with my daughters entering adulthood, I may end up with a high-performance car going into my golden years.
